If he's making you unhappy why keep meeting him? It's fine to have a fb if that's what you both want, but it sounds like you feel used. You're worth more than that. Don't let anyone make you feel crap. |

I have a few that I chat to and meet up with every few weeks . . Fwb and FB.... Whichever it is, we're taking with people, which means emotions at some point.
A good relationship whether monogamous, FB or FWB will always hinge on communication....assuming the sex is good. If you can't /don't communicate effectively, you won't be in the same page. That will just mess with the energy, which impacts the fun....a downward slide.
Always best to say what you're thinking or want. You either learn you need to move on, or you get something better.

I had a fwb for about 4 years. She was unhappy sexually in her relationship and I made the mistake of falling in love. She didn't want to leave him and I got jealous when she started to see someone else too. Didn't end too nicely sadly as I would still love to be mates as that's what we were before. |

I am one to a fabulous couple. Been so for nearly 3 years. We all get on well with a lot of trust and respect. I do chat with the lovely lady alot....sometimes just say hi over coffee..works wonderful well for all parties |

Yup, we're finding it works for fwb and hence this profile. Occasional hiccups now and again but the biggest thing we've found is its not just based on the benefits. |

VB and myself met a couple on here that have become fantastic friends with benefits.
We meet them socially an awful lot more than for play though (mostly due to the difficulties of finding child minders). We've also met them individually and discovered we rather like that sort of thing too.  |

As has been mentioned already, if you discuss the boundaries early on it can be great! Having someone who you really get on with that you can chat and have a laugh with is wonderful. The physical side is also excellent.
