Seriously how far would guys actually travel for a meet ?
Am I the only one that thinks omg would you really go that far for a meet ?
I've had a few that give it all the talk drive to meet me and it's been like over in minutes ! wow can they really not get local meets |

I would travel anywhere for the right people. I don't think that's a problem or should be perceived as too keen. Maybe after a few minutes chatting is a little too soon to be planning that though haha. |

I do think it depends on the connection. Some chat for a long time. I've even chatted to someone for over a year on here before we had the chance to meet. I think that was about 200 miles. |

Very much so. Me and my Scottish Pen pal have become an annual thing (school holidays when the kids go up North to their Mums for a week or two). Its a lovely escape from the everyday grind with a wonderful friend. I suppose like others have said connection increases the lengths you'll go to spend time with someone. I love sex (obviously) but I am more driven by connection which in turn = Better sex. |

I would travel far for the right person,
I've been down to Brighton for a meet and also Upto Yorkshire,
For me it depends on the person if they're nice and friendly and after a while of chatting we are getting along well and still chatting then I'd be prepared to travel any distance pretty much.
But then I'm also used to travelling through work |

Personally, If we have messages, and then chatted we should have a strong idea we are going to hit it off .... assuming both parties have been open and honest!

I travelled up to Wakefield a few times to meet a woman from another site. She was definitely worth it. If there's a good connection then it's worth the travel |

Personally, If we have messages, and then chatted we should have a strong idea we are going to hit it off .... assuming both parties have been open and honest!
Honestly is paramount!
But not everyone is ........
I've had guys drive miles and they look nothing like their pics !!!

There is so much for females to chose from here - like a candy shop - so id say keep it local, and make the guy do the travelling, if he serious, he do it "
I don't travel as a rule as I'm a single parent in a new area !!
And I am very fussy
It just amazes me that guys have traveled so far but nothing like the pics or personalities from texts convos ........
What a waste of my precious time and there's ! :0(

I'd definitely travel from the south coast to say Manchester/Newcastle or I'd get a train. But from a very recent time waster, I'd have to be 100% certain of them. |

I regularly visit Manchester (190 miles) and Cornwall (270 miles). Had meets in Manchester but not Cornwall (or en route) yet.
But I'm travelling there anyway, otherwise I've travelled an hour and would again if we got along well on here. |

Always the guys that travel so far. Rare if at all its the women. You can't expect a relationship from that huge distance. And I doubt any woman would wait around for a long distance man to turn up again. Long distance rarely if at all lasts long term.
I honestly do wonder if you lovely men have your brain in your scrotum instead of your head! Lol.
Save your petrol and your money. If you can't find a Local woman, hire one or buy a realistic sex doll! If I were a man, I would be because no way would I travel hundreds of miles for any random person just for sex meets. |

We've travelled about 80 miles for a meet but it was to go to a club too!
If we were to go far then it would be to attend a club also.

Those who really get inside my mind the ones I could and sometimes do talk to for hours those where we just get each other...
They are usually in a different country... but what does that mattet...

If I wanted just a shag, I could easily get one with little effort.
If I want to meet up with someone I've spent several months chatting to, on & off of here, have developed a decent friendship with, plus combine a visit to see an old school friend, then I will.

I can understand being quick to judge chaps for saying that distance is not an option. Most guys do tend to think only with their penis. I have been guilty of it in the past, in fact when I was first discovery my bisexuality it almost got me Into some dangerous situations. I learned and I moved on but was always intelligent enough to back away when it came down to it. Don't get me wrong many people are comfortable with hook ups and that Is completely fine. I need a connection with people, a physical attraction always plays second fiddle to the person or people. Matching all those elements together it makes it a little harder to find. I enjoy meeting people, making friends (even plutonically) and I don't see why distance should play a part in that. Of course the ultimate relationship dynamic may be a pipedream but I have patience. In the meantime, I will quite happily continue to believe distance isn't a problem.

An hour each way is my max generally, unless they're cooking and can accommodate the dog*, but I'm looking for a particular thing and it won't just be a quick shag.

On a serious note like many Fabbers we are not restricted by location. Nothing wrong with locals. On occasions we even join in or take them with us far far away.
Fellow adventure seekers come closer and allow me to share a few stories with you. Here it goes...
1) I was invited up North to share a few days with likeminded individuals/groups. I plucked up the courage to travel. A woman allowed me to stay with her so I ended up taking her nandos virginity! Oh yeah it was all about the chicken and nothing but the chicken. Always remember the good times
2) I drove to Scotland. OMG I actually drove to Scotland! Was invited to explore... we were soo thirsty we bottled our own water at source. Highlands woohoo
3) Coming back to the other end of the country way down South... I ended up washing the dishes. Oh I did leave midnight crumbs in her bed and I did not apologise 
Many many more exciting adventures, but you get the idea...

Went from Dublin to Manchester for a week. Happened to arrange a meet with someone there I had chatted to on here for months before.
Not sure if that counts as I didn't actually travel for just the meet.
Did go from a 16 hour shift in Dublin to a fancy dress M&G in limerick, (about 200 km drive) stayed up all night, then drove back and went straight to work, couldn't get the makeup completely off (I was a zombie) so I looked like a hungover druggie At work.
Was fun though and made some great fab friends. |

Really really depends on the woman. I've travelled five metres before - tho on average I'd say I do one to two metres. I considered doing six metres but I ain't no Usain Bolt. He comes from Jamaica, you know, and always goes the full distance. |

Travelled to Malasia recently for a weekend visit with my wife... they are so rare these days we call them meets over 40 hours on the road (airport and sky inckyded) for 30 hours mostly in bed  |
