I am looking for guidance on tying people up the correct way with japanese rope. Where would be the best place to seek people who can do this in the correct manner without hurting anyone. Is there any couples in suffolk or norfolk who can teach me? |

There are rope workshops all over, get in touch with your local BDSM groups and munches,(the usual 2 sites will have details)
The knotty boys are world famous and have many how to vids on youtube.
There are a selection of books on amazon. Just enter shibari.
Have fun ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

We went to an Esinem.com intro day and were very impressed.
Otwas in a house in south London and with a few other couples, spent the day all learning together and watching demonstrations.
More 'traditional' then the knotty boys, using natural rope etc, but gives you the start and loads of good advice to continue on with.
We certainly learnt a lot and would recommend it to anyone starting out.

Get large quantities of rough sailing rope. Bind whole body from feet up to neck. Use masking tape over eyes and mouth, tighter the better. Role up in large mat and put in car.... No? Just me then? ![](/icons/s/eek.gif) |

"Before you buy rope, get a good pair of EMT Shears.
Safety first, its very easy to cut of someones circulation.
As before 2 knotty boys have some great tutorials "
And I should know![](/icons/s/wink.gif) |
