Studied physiology, human nature and went into personal mythology.
He was an advisor on Star Wars.
In his book called "A man with a thousand faces" he talks about how mythology starts.
The first step is crossing the.Boundaries... i.e. the princess is playing with her ball ... it falls in the water, a creature comes out and says. 'Take my hand, all take you to find it' kind of Gandalf or Ben Kenobie...
