You're not in the police mate, stop lying to get your end away. No copper would advertise the fact. You might be a special but they don't count. Get a grip. |

So annoying in this day & age why it should matter at all. A bit of good old bribery / corruption I undertstand.
But something legal between consenting adults it amazes me that employment law still doesn't protect someone from this.
Bringing an organisation into disrepute is enough to be fired from most public sector employers.... shame same rules don't apply to MP's.... |

In fairness the OP is a regular poster of "I'm in the police force" threads, all of which contain responses suggesting that he is just fantasising. I don't recall seeing the OP trying to debunk these suggestions, which doesn't help.
Even if he is genuine, it's a bit desperate if he believes that being a copper is his best chance of getting laid on here! |

Anyone connected with the police force are advised to avoid declaring that they are on social media sites in case they are targeted. I don't imagine that fab would be any different. That said, it's not like the police ever break any rules is it? |

A number of years ago I had dropped my boyfriend at his home and was about to head off when a gorgeous policeman stuck his head through my.Window and asked if I was ok (probably wondering if I had drank too much!) I invited him in for a chat-lots.of chemistry there- and we drove somewhere quiet for a frenzied steamy session. I didn't get to know his surname but it was a mind blowing few hours. He would be retired now though! |

Not really, they're volunteers, they have the same powers but none of the knowledge and they're not subjected to the same rigorous background checks prior to joining. Most do it for the power trip and so they can brag about it. Not all but most. Why else would you work nights dealing with the dregs of society for free. |

Not they don't mate, and they never go out alone, full stop, they're always paired up regardless. Most of them are in it for the wrong reasons. Some do it as a stepping stone to join the regulars but mostly they're all a bit weird. I have nothing against little blue people btw. |

Gee I must be wrong because I've never had 2 specials show up to an incident at work. Minus a PC....

I'm sure it will vary force to force mate but round here the specials go out in pairs, as in two or three specials without a regular. Sometimes they'll turn up and expect to paired up with a regular but more often than not they're put on the nearest crime scene or Connie obs. Anyway, we digress....... |

Pack your bags and get ready for change in employment. Because its likely to happen sometime. I have a friend whose partner was a fireman, they decided to have a party at the station one night and invited a couple of lady friends to join them on the night shift. A couple of pictures they took of the fun with the other guys (no faces)were put on her profile, The Online edition of the Daily mail ran the pictures along with a story about officers bringing the service into disrepute and they also asked senior management if they knew what serving officers were getting up to. They also offering £4,000 for more information. The end result was 4 firemen being sacked and my friend being harassed by the mail. Shouldn't mention you're an officer, it's not a USP it a trouble magnet. |

Oh I thought you meant alone as in without a real pig.
Here you see them on foot patrols alone but the others usually only in the next street on foot or hovering in the car.
I especially like when the division have to get all their hours in at the end of the month and you get gaggles of them hanging around the town centre .... midweek |

Like everyone in society, it takes all sorts. I'm guessing a lot of people on here don't like been judged for why they are here. Sure the specials don't want to be judged why they do it.
You may be surprised to hear it but some actually do it to put something back into society. To actually make some one else's life that little bit better. Not everyone just wants to take from life, some want to give. For free. That shows more about their character than those whom mock them.
Life skills learnt in the specials can go a long way with a normal career... you meet people at their lowest point in their life, been able to deal with that is character building.
Specials play an increasingly important role in everyday policing now all forces are under financial pressure. You will find that long time serving specials do go out alone, some divisions are staffed purely by specials at certain times and many forces have specials on the Road Policing Units.... as drivers, not passengers and other semi-specialist roles.

It's one of the only ways to get into the forces now to be fair.
You could also apply your reasoning to regular police officers. Not all of them are background checked properly some slip through the cracks, and In my experience not all of them are as knowledgeable as specials. |

At this rate he'll be an undercover officer. No wait...he won't want that as they don't have a uniform that will get him laid (allegedly)! |

"Did you see that article in all the Red Tops a couple of months ago about the officer that was on here and got outed by someone he met?
Lost his job and everything.
I totally agree! |

Know a police officer on here, as a friend in the "real world" and he is quite open about being a swinger.
We've never played but he has met plenty off here, I've asked about whether there is risk to his job but he said they all know, just a case of don't flaunt it and be aware that it may bite in future for cases if recognised (I'm guessing if someone knew he was and he was involved in a case against them?)
Can't imagine why a force would just sack an officer for being a swinger |

His pics were of him in his uniform and I believe he was meeting within work hours. |
