Ladies, I need to refresh my hold on collection. But I do find there to be such a difference in quality and fitting. What are your favourite brands of stockings and hold ups? xx

Yes I like a thick band round the top, don't really like the thin designed ones. Sounds like primark it is then. Need a short slightly risqué dress as well to go with them xx

Primark 3 band ones are fantastic but I've only ever found them in 40 denier.

If I want thinner hold ups I buy them from asda. £4 for two pairs, lacy top and they do stay put. I get the L/XL size because I've got thunder thighs

The 3 Stripes mentioned above are very popular.

So much so, a lady asked me who made them and could I find out where to get some.

After some thought I told her I knew who made them...Adidas

My favourite hold up has to be the one where you are not too far from the services or when there is a fittie in the next lane

Anyone have any suggestions for extra long stockings?

I can't seem to find any that actually go to where they're supposed, they all end up looking like knee socks on me

Have a route around in TK Max.

The Italian makes are long in the leg.

Hold Ups M & S but I'm going to try Primarni.
