It APPEARS that around 99% of users of this site are British. East Anglia where we live has a large Eastern European community but we have never found any while browsing the site. Does that mean Eastern Europeans are not into swinging or do they have their own sites ! |

How on earth doo you conclude the 99% statistic.
Do you know where I'm from. Most people don;t mention it and it's not a demographic the profile asks probably because it doesn;t really matter? |

We are the same area as you and we have spotted a few.
They don't advertise themselves as polish.eastern European but it is quite easy to see from the photos, profile and messages we have received
Oh and the fact that there are not too many tall fit blokes in the Fens with the correct number of digits |

I suppose you don't pick up accents etc over profiles... and there's no tick box for nationality. Whilst you can tell where someone lives you don't know where they are from so there might be a lot of users from outside the UK but ou just can't tell! |

"If you have nothing constuctive to say then maybe just leave it for those who have."
It's a forum...
Personally I too don't understand the point of the thread but read nothing racist in to your comments. Though the scenario that NN described of asking someone where they are from does make me think that there is a degree of racism in the motive. |

"Met a couple of swingers in Scotland who were from other Countries. Nationality should not be a bone of contention, after all swinging is swinging. "
see i dont agree with that
everyone likes different
we all have our likes and dis likes, some dont like big people, some dont like people with tattoos, some dont like people of another culture
If we never took anything into account when chhosing meets we'd all just be shagging everyone regardless
swinging maybe swinging but that does not mean we should just fuck everyone |

As usual there are those on here who are always looking for an ulterior motve to a perfectly straightforwad observation.
Makes one wonder if there is any point in using a forum to share thoughts. |

its not racism, if someone chooses not to meet me because of my nationality thats just a personal choice and sexual prefference, i turn guys down for verious reasons, does not mean i dont like them as a person just means i dont want to have sex with them, its peoples choice and we have to accept that |

"Thanks, nice to see there are some on here who are not seeking to stir things up !"
No one's shit stirring, believe me! Threads have been removed from the site for less!
Also, I've had chats with people from different countries and different backgrounds. People tend not to make a song 'n' dance about where they're from, what they do or any other personal info on this site as it's not really important or private to that person. Certain things are on a need to know basis! |

"there could be the option that the OP might have been actively seeking a eastern european couple and was having trouble meeting them.
"
I thought I was going mad for a minute there and I was reading and re reading the OP trying to see where the racism was?
I can't see it at all because all I can see is what you have just said,it seems that they're asking where the Eastern European swingers are because they can't find them |

My belief is that the OP meant that 99% of users on this site are living in Britain and as they browse a part of Britain with a large community of immigrants (who work the farms) they are suprised not to have come across many of them on this site. So are asking if they can draw the conclusion that not many people coming to Britain access swinging sites.
Seemed pretty straightforward to me. Only one person (as I am writing this) has responded to the question who seemed to get it as well and gave their answer that they know of immigrants on this site.
To aswer your question OP I live in a part of Britain with a large Chinese and Italian population. No chinese people have approached me yet, but I have had a fair amount of Italians doing so. Hope that is a useful contribution to your thread. xx |

Thats a cool vibe...enjoy yerself ...I`m sure there are immigrants who swing ..hope yer find them..
As an aside, I admire some of the Polish ladies in our area...they dress so well, stylish and funky, with a European twist... |

Could've avoided a lot of confusion by simply asking. This is what happens when people beat round the bush!

I would disagree to that comment to be honest, as I have been in Abdn for over 20 years, but I was born into the army (was my dad in case it's not clear enough lol) But I still have an english accent...so tends to come up in my conversations quite often, so there are some exceptions to the rules...only pointing out... |

suppose it depends how you look at it
is your nationality where your born or where you blood line comes from? |

Had another thought about the OP's question. When we lived in taiwan we were very careful who we swung with. As an expat(posh migrant) you tend to fear getting into any kind of trouble with the locals and portray yourself as whiter than white...although there was that great night with the triad boss and his girlfriend ....
Anyway my point is they may well be swinging, but with each other. |

Either way the suggestion that you are English before you are British or a UK citizen is wrong. |

As a matter of curiosity, I don't know if there is such a thing, but IF there was a similar web site to this in Jamaica, do you think that Jamaicans would be asking similar questions about Antiguans, Barbadians, or Trinidadians, or Cubans? |

In your opinion. I think that is a matter for an individual to decide for themselves. |

I can follow your opinion, however, if you're a British Citizen as stated on your United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Passport and your place of birth falls within the English boundary then you are English, just as Cardiff would be welsh and Glasgow would be Scottish and Belfast would be Northern Irish..
ultimately we are all citizens of the world..lol
I was born in Shropshire and therefore I'm a 'proud Sallopian' you can romanticise about where you originate from as much as you like but as long as we have defined borders this is the way it is.
if you were born on sovereign territory ie forces base you are British.except the Sovereign base areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia (in Cyprus).
if however you are born here in the UK and your parents are not british citizens or are illegally here or not settled here you are not. (as defined by the UK border agency).
why fight tradition..be proud..I dare say if I was able to trace my heritage back beyond written documentation I would find people that had settled here from possibly any where.
I have welsh roots so support Wales and England in the rugby..always Wales when they play each other!lol
But it still doesn't get me away from the fact I was born in Shropshire in England in Great Britain and Northern Ireland

e.g. ME!
"why fight tradition..be proud...I have welsh roots so support Wales and England in the rugby..always Wales when they play each other!"
Personal preferences old chap! Dad was Polish, mum is German...but I see myself as being as English/British as a roast beef dinner. Never once have I supported Poland or Germany in a football match against England. And I signed up to HM Armed forces to defend the UK/Nato against Poland and the Warsaw Pact (including that Eastern bit of Germany that my mothers roots were in) No right or wrong answer to that old connundrum, IMHO. |
