I buy a packet of biscuits. It looks like there are quite a few in a packet, judging by the size of one biscuit. I eat one or two and the packet becomes empty. How does that shit happen? Where do the biscuits go? Or is it an illusion that the packet is full? ? |

We go to work to earn a living , we pay tax on what we have earned, we go shopping to eat and stay alive which we pay tax on, we buy fuel for our vehicles which we pay tax on, all this to enable us to go to work so we can get taxed on all over again......in a way it feels like we don't actually "earn" anything.
Weird that.

I always say to people, “No one earns $100 million. You steal $100 million.” People earn $10 an hour. People earn $40,000 a year. “Earn” means work. Okay? It doesn’t mean steal, which with these vast amounts of money, of course you steal them. There’s also the idea in this country, it’s not wholly new, but it’s new in its kind of purity, in that you have to be really smart to be really rich. Not strange really, square boxes are much cheaper to make than round one and round pizzas are cheaper to make than square ones, as the pizza dough starts off as a ball XXX |
