Im surprosed how interesting I found this thread after initially dismissing it...... I find myself judging men with "mommy issues" in a way I wouldn't judge a woman with "daddy issues"...... is this some kind of personal bigotry/sexisim on my behalf, or is this a socialy conditioned reaction....... ? |

Oh god, I've had quite a few of those. Probably because I'm 'older' though as a previous poster's already found, those sending such messages are often too old for me to have feasibly been their mother anyway  There's nothing on my profile suggesting I'd be remotely interested in that sort of role play ... but then most mail I get doesn't relate to my profile so no change there .... |

Speaking from personal experience, I would emphasise that Adult Breastfeeding, ANR, Adult Baby and Diaper Wearing are ALL different concepts...
Personally, I love to be breastfed, and I was in an 'Adult Nursing Relationship' for several years; however, I never asked my partner to treat me as a baby, and had no interest in diaper play.
That being said, I have never addressed any woman as 'Mummy' in my opening message; just as I have never addressed them as 'Mistress'...
Why?
Simple, because I've got NO idea whatever as to their attitude towards things like Adult Baby / Mommy's Boy dynamics, so it would be inappropriate to assume that they embrace that role... |
