A decent bit of time in the sunshine keeps me topped up. Failing that Actimel of a vitamen supplement. Although vitamin D is not absorbed well by the body as a supplement so sunshine is always the best way.

Your body requires magnesium to absorb vitamin D taken in food form.
I suggest adding dark leafy greens, nuts, seeds, fish, beans, whole grains, avocados, yogurt, bananas, dried fruit, dark chocolate to your diet |

I already eat all that at various stages each week and get plenty of sun. Looks like my vitamin D intake is ok
