I've never been to Xtasia before, anyone a regular there who can answer me a few questions please?
Like:-
What's the dresscode?
Do they have lockers?
Do you really have to pay a deposit to use the jacuzzi?
And yes I've checked the club directory but the link doesn't work lol x |

ive been a few times lol
yes you have to pay to use the jacuzzi, i think its a towel charge, i could be wrong as i have never been in jacizzi but i think you cant take your own towel and they sell them there and you have to buy it, im sure i will be put right tho if im wrong lol
The dress code is sexy type night club wear
no lockers, you cant take your phone in you have to hand it in and they just put it in a carrier in a coat cupbard, no changing rooms either
not keen on the place myself, they have sofas as playing areas which i dont like, when you think of all the dried up wet patching living in there..... makes you cringe
besides that fancy a shag lol |

Firstly, the jacuzzi isn't usually open on a Friday night. In the olden days, it was free to use if you had your own towell, but if you didn't you could buy one there for £3 or so. There was a fully refundable deposit for the use of the locker key too.
Dress Code, well there really isn't one any more. Once it was smart/casual, or "dress to impress". These days, I suppose it's still "dress to impress" except that with the number of people in old jeans, trainers, hoodies, tee shirts etc, not a lot of impressing goes on. I think that the art of seeing yourself from other people's perspectives has been lost, either that or people don't care about their appearance any more.
The club is one where any goings on are on view, to satisfy the more exhibitionistic and voyeuristic people. If you want private rooms, there's a hotel next door. It's not the cheap option for bosses to take their secretaries to for inexpensive nookie, in the privacy of a locked room, like some clubs tended to have become. |

Club Xtasia is not a sauna club where you wonder around in a towel, it is a nightclub for swingers where you dress to impress. There is no sauna just loads of playrooms to enjoy yourselves together or with others.
The Club is always kept fresh and clean.
The people that visit the Club are usually well presented and attractive.
The Club is not liked by very large people because of this and some of them slate the Club.
See for yourself, you wont be disappionted.

The club was disgusting!!!
First and foremost NO SHOWERS!!!!!!
people were playing and then just going back to the bar and carrying on with their evening, all play areas were covered in fabric sheets that stay on all night regardless of how many people play on them!
So unless you want to stand in the ladies toilet, strip off and wash in the hand basin in cold water (as the hot taps didn't work) play is definitely out of the question!
No lockers
No changing rooms
No jaccuzi/wet area
No flippin good! |

Oh my, a female friend of mine got a similar email so we looked at the website - something about "women, you're in control so the men are for you to use as you please" (Paraphrased, please correct me if I'm way off mark) did put me off so we did not bother (I'm no one's piece of meat to use and drop unless I choose to be).
Just a scary thought what could have been. |

There were lots of single men who were very disrespectful, hardly any couples or women only a couple of 'girls' who I think were on the payroll who were playing all night with everyone which is very disturbing as there are NO SHOWERS!!!!!
sorry if I keep banging on about it but cleanliness is paramount when swinging |

"I have spoken to a few people that went friday who said it was a crap night
Its never been a club i like reallyIt was dreadful lol
"
Quite scary to think "near miss". The problem now is for the organiser who was sending out the emails, if they want to hold another event there. They can think:
1) Do I approach the club owner and tell them to sort it out
2) Do I apologise to the people who were disappointed and get their respective feedback/take on the night and what was wrong?
3) Do I say "fuck it" and use another venue instead?
Well, if I were the one, that's kinda what I'd be thinking. |

"The 'organiser' is just someone who is a member and a relatively new addition to fab"
Oh dear, they fell for the "Use your lovely profile to invite people to our club" pitch? |

We were at Xtasia on Friday night it was a great night, there were about 80 people there and because it is so large everyone has there own space.
It is a nightclub for swingers and not a sauna club.

If indeed it is a "nightclub for swingers" don't provide places to, or expect to play when there are no facilities to freshen up and change afterwards! |

The staff informed us that the jaccuzi/shower & locker area has been closed and locked up for over a year due to lack of use!
Showers that don't get used doesn't speak well of the clientele! |

thats because everyone stays dressed
ive seen people playing on the sofas there and the guys just pull their trousers down and the women pull their knickers to one side, they had sex, re ajust, go back to the bar area
to much trouble to get undressed, have a shower and get dressed again i guess |

It is probably a good thing they closed the jacuzzi...the water was so cloudy the time we went I hate to think of the bacteria thriving in there. The time we went Xtasia was dirty, drug taking in the toilets, arrogant people and to top it off....someone got shot in the street outside the club so we couldn't leave till it was safe.... No thanks, we will stick to Chams. |

People really do that??? We never play at clubs, we just go to meet up and perhaps play in our hotel afterwards. In all the clubs we have been to, we have never seen loads using the showers after playing! If that did happen, there would need to be banks of showers larger than some clubs!
Chams may well be different, I have never been, but it is a "wet" club so would have different facilities! But that brings it's own problems. Playing in the jacuzzi? Euwww! But I am sure it goes on and I'll bet loads go in after that has happened!
Of course everyone who goes will say that THEY use the showers (and re-do their makeup and dry and style their hair!) but I wonder in reality how many actually do... |

cant say how many do
re doing make up and hair is neither here nor there, you dont have to have perfect hair and make up to be clean
As for the showers lots of people use them at chams, infact 9 time out if 10 when i have gone to use them there has been a queue |

Come along and find out for yourself and I can assure you the showers get plenty of use, the jaccuzi is monitored and chemicals added accordingly and they provide FREE condoms whereas at Xtasia it's cheaper to buy a mars bar and use the wrapper than buy 1 condom at 80 pence a time lol |

Errr... I don't go to clubs to "dress to impress". If my personality or the way I conduct myself doesn't carry it off, what I'm wearing isn't going to help much. |

I went to this club once and would never go again. Do you still have to walk past all the rastas out side the pub and the police cars to get back to your car on Aldi car park across the road, you leave your stuff in a wardrobe at the front door, the play rooms are in the roof no were to put your cloths and no room to swing a cat. The jacuzzi was hidden in the basement after buying a towel and putting a deposit on a locker key you then have to climb up over the ledge to enter the jacuzzi but watch you don't bang your head then sit feeling uneasy as a single female 'cause you are hidden downstairs out of ear and eye sight.
There was a pregnant woman looked ready to give birth, it was dead on what was meant to be its really fetish night everyone there just sat in the smoking area.
No thanks you can keep it, I tried telling people not to bother but they went and found out for themselves and it sounds like it is worse now than then. |
