Got a message that said exactly the above 3 words from a 30ish bloke who I have never talked to before, never interacted with. And with a profile that
1. Has only the following two profound words: Say Hi. Yes nothing else whatsoever. Saving on paper maybe?
2. Has been on Fab for 5 months so wasn't a "startup" profile written last night with plans to add later. It was a "work in progress" that never started (a.k.a., can't be bothered)
3. Has one picture - a face with sunglasses. Well, I'll give credit where due, it is a face. At least not a dick (the picture, that is)
WTF?! How in the hell could he POSSIBLY think I'd find his message of any interest?? In a bar would any bloke shout "Yo What's good?" to a girl across the table and get a response? Or am I being stupid and old fashioned and a bitch?

Yep, the 'Hi, how's it going' ones go straight to the bin. The great thing with such short messages is you don't even have to open them to read them. So it's even quicker to hit delete. |
