Serious question now, but how did some of the less desireable ladies who never leave their house get any of the action that they get now from the 100s of messages from fab and other sites before the Internet? (Think I was about 16 when I first went on the Internet so 20 years ago)
And how did people heat about stingers clubs and where they are?? |

No seriously, ok any women beautiful or not that never left the house to go the pub/club (maybe because of not many friends or home with kids all the time) how did they get talking to men to just invite them round? Surely didn't bring them home from the weekly shop in normids/kwik save!! |

Why? I'm asking before smart phones and the Internet before that women who were stuck at home for one reason or another or didn't like going out, how did they get on??
Come dave before fab and Internet how did you find your nsa sex?
Maybe with being a bloke you went out a lot but for women it could be different |

"we met other couples via contact mags.. God i feel Old.. "
Our first meet was a contact mag with a couple in Plymouth which only came about because the news agent we bought it from didn't scrub out the phone number properly lol |

It was the bit about less desireable women who never leave the house, you don't think that is bad choice of words? |

Erm! My understanding is that forms of swinging have gone on for centuries, for example the old 'hellfire clubs'...in its current format re availability re clubs/contact mediums, it is a modern development (some would say from USA in the 70's. please correct me if I am wrong)..... Its modern form gives ladies freedom of choice re needs/desires/wants ruined by perpetual messaging from 'less desired males.' |

It was a much nicer place back then.. and it was word of mouth.. invite only... or you had enough imagination and balls to go find it.
laybys and carparks had secret dogging spots.. now they're all car parks of no men waiting on couples and scare em off the second they approach.. truckers knew the score and were often objects of desire to dogging couples believe it or not..
instead of Knights of the Road.. we're now relegated into serial killerdom. |

I had a German girlfriend who got me into it and was in Germany.. so My experience may differ. |

Thanks for the CONSTRUCTIVE answers folks. It does sound a bit more fun from the mags and po boxes an word of mouth clubs
That's why I think clubs are good. No phones allowed means people speak to each other instead of normal pubs where all the women are glued to their snap chat!
Any minute now kinky minx is goin remind us all on again for the God knows what time about the word undesirables I used...... |

"Contact magazines and letters to box numbers.
I remember one called Rendezvous
Lol so were they just top shelf mags in the local newsagents? "
No. I used to work for a publication that had contact ads at the back. It wasn't top shelf.
Some guys would send all sorts in to the box numbers |

Happy to, you said "less desireable ladies who never leave their house".
And I commented on your faux pas. And I know it was a faux pas because you've since back tracked |

"Rendezvous was the main contact mag...came out bi-monthly. It could take weeks to arrange a meet. Makes us feel old.
"
My parents used to read this, not something for. Mentioning over Sunday lunch. |

well for us, we used to get ad mag or Escort or Forum magazine, it was very strange as in those days we used toi have to go out and WALK ( good god the exercise we used to get ) to the village shop, I know its very strange, but we used to hand real money over to buy things called magazines.
We would browse through the ads and then get something called paper and a writing implement called a pen, reply to the ad, enclose a couple of discreet photos and then put it in another paper thing called an envelope.
Once this was done, we had to write an actual address to something called a box office number and then put a tiny square thing called a stamp on the right hand corner.
yet more excersize was need to walk again to a thing which was painted red that stood on the street, this had a slot in and we would push this envelope into it and what was the miracle of it all, some guy used to collect it and it would get delivered to a slot in another couples house and they would hopefully start the process all over again.
It was all a miracle really.. |

I half think your taking the piss out of me but at the same time all those things will be if not almost already a thing of the past that's why I asked the question as for me I'd of never of thought of goin clubs without joining on here.
'Enclosed a couple of discreet photos' I bet this is where some people struggled even more back in the day, risking sending photos, you know the ones who even now haven't got any photos on their phone to send! Or send you a blurry face pic that they remove from the message after 5 seconds!! |

They waved a hanky out of their bedroom window or invited the postman / milk man/ plumber etc in for a cuppa tea or stuck to fucking the lodger/husband. |
