I think I would raise two points, which are in no way a criticism of OP but observation on the topic.
Firstly what do you mean by 'extreme sub' and extreme dom'
A woman may want to be a 50's wife but not want pain. A dom/domme may be high on protocol and low on the pyrotechnics. Someone's idea of being extreme sub is submitting to being gangbanged senseless, whereas sleeping with one other to some may be extreme. Anyway to find out how subby or domly a person is why not just ask people to complete one of the online fetish tests and post the headline figures that would have more objectivity. Mine are on my profile on the site that can't be mentioned.
Secondly I realise there are people who like to be treated, as vanilla society would see it, as abusive in terms of personal treatment. These folk treat their desire as a itch that needs to be scratched and are not looking for an intense personal relationship.
However, to me, using terms like 'extreme' removes the importance of the personal connection between the sub and dom/domme and opens up d/s to being seen as an olympic sport and competition of who can be treated or treat their sub harder, stranger, and weirder, rather than an affectionate connection between two (or more) people and the kink being an expression of that connection.
I love watching a great kink scene, but what makes it great is not the physical action but seeing the connection in the d/s relationship whilst beastly things are done. That's why I love rope. I suppose my point is this; the word 'extreme' makes the kink less personal and if it is not personal is there any point?
