After receiving a wink i sent a message to the couple in question. Got a reply back saying would love to meet me so i then messaged again to arrange then all of a sudden blocked. Some people take the piss. And its us single guys who are meant to be timewasters |

Maybe, one of them replied before checking with the other one.
Maybe, they thought you were being a bit pushy. Not everyone wants to arrange a date after one message.
Who knows! People change their minds for all kinds of reasons.
They didn't really waste much of your time, only a few minutes.
Look on the bright side, it could have been worse. You could have been stood up/ left hanging on the actual meet.
