I have good acquaintances who are gey and trans etc and talk freely about these things with them.
Transgender have undergone sex change procedures due to defect in the genetic wiring (no offence intended but I know I'll be slaughtered for that) as there are only 2 sexes, after all. Anything in between normally requires an intervention. It's just nature.
