How far is too...
Jump to: Newest in thread
So when you consider meets or far is too far for you?
After a lack of local success I've been thinking surely the odds of me finding someone I find attractive and suitable increase the further afield I look.
So with that in mind, how far do you consider is too far? And if the other party is willing to travel to you, would their distance from you be an issue?

For the right person I would def travel - my last FWB lived in Istanbul, then he moved to Serbia, then Tunisia and finally he's moved to Brazil - i would go there but it's the expense and length of the flight puts me off |

We usually expect to drive an hour for a meet, party or club. If we're lucky it'll be more local. But there are relatively few guys who are genuinely interested in Hotwifing couples, so we would be prepared to go a bit further a field if necessary. Sadly, we had a couple of guys who were all very keen until they experienced the 3 hour round journey to the backside of nowhere. So it's a personal thing as to whether it's worth it or not.

I think to travel a long distance one needs to be sure. I don't think anybody wants to travel for a long time on the off-chance that there might be a connection or attraction.

"I meet half way and travel up to 30 mins. I won't meet people further than that. If they say they'll travel to me I just think they're desperate. "
How about Penistone??? (Hint, hint) |

The next postcode is too far for us.
Serious answer...Around an hour travel time, is our max limit. We need to be close enough to get home quickly, if needed.
Not keen on others travelling too far for us, now either. They often assume (in our experience) that we have to put out, just because they've put themselves out by travelling.

I once travelled three hours each way on a Friday after work for a meet. But it was a very good meet.
Generally I prefer to spend less time, however. I meet one FWB in a hotel close to home, and a regular partner about an hour away, 80 minutes if I miss a train connection. |

I have travelled about 6 miles each way if you can stay the night it is worth it,lady I met on another site some years ago we stayed friends so if I get a meeting in Hampshire I stay with her and if she gets one near me she will stay and we have fun, so it gives us a better meeting range |

Just where I need to be. |
I have travelled 2 hours to meet after a while chatting. I have had a couple people visit travelling 3 hours. I have even flown to Manchester to meet and then off to a club. I do travel for the right people.I prefer to meet people not from my local area. |

I'd travel a few hours , guessing that's about how far away you are |

So it seems most are happy to travel at least an hour or so, and considerably more if the felt it was worth the extra effort.
I think I agree with this, although I would probably stretch to a 2hr drive as a standard. |

We'd happily travel for a couple of hours or even a tad longer for the right meet...That equates to about 150 miles north of us and about 50 miles if going south as the roads/tracks down this way are woeful |
