Could be because you didn't return their affection in their required timescale and they assumed you weren't interested... blocking saves them contacting you again.
Or quite simply, because they can... |

They may have accidentally hit the wink button (I've done it stacks  ) and thought it is best to block as they are feeling a bit embarrassed?

Never question why people do anything. It doesnt matter, its only swinging. They've blocked you, they dont want any more contact, dont give them head space, its not worth your time  |
