This is one of those things you need to figure out for yourself, because your answer is the only one that matters. Do you want to be pegged? Is this just a surrogate for the real thing in your case? Does it make you feel gay?
Years ago, when I was with my ex, we bought a book titled (I think) The Adventurous Lovers Guide to Strap-on Sex. It had some practical, if rather obvious advice, but it was mostly reassuring the reader over and over that strap on sex wasn't gay. Technically, any act between male and a female is a heterosexual one.
Me? Practising heterosexual for over 40 years (excepting a few same sex experiences when younger and a one off experiment in my 30s that convinced me I was straight.) Tried strap-on sex with my (now) ex and loved it. (She hated it. Lots of hard work for no personal reward.) Found I loved the real thing even more, once I got the chance to explore.
