Just back from Alton Towers - went on them all Rita, Thirteen, Oblivion, Air but in my opinion Nemesis still rocks 15 years on......what is your favourite?  |

I dont do rollercoasters, I was sick once just watching a documentary about why rollercoasters give the physical sensations that they do, the impact on the body etc. Im a no-hoper and a real kill-joy at an amusement park...  |

Everyone needs a bit of excitement to enter their life at some stage, and rollercoasters certainly appeal to me.....I dont do walters and spinning stuff stuff - weird eh?

now i am really showing my age
the last time i went to alton towers there wasn't even a fun fair there (i know the modern term is theme park, i'm just being 'retro' haha)
it was just the gardens and the house - in fact i seem to remember the only excitement of the day was capturing wasps in upturned glasses and watching them suffocate
those were the days  |

We are off for our annual Halloween trip to alton towers in October with some friends from the site..brings a whole new meaning to the Swinging Pirate ship!
Our fave ride is Oblivion, but in oct they have a haunted maze under the Tower which can be quite scary!

Thirteen was a bit of a let down I agree, Oblivion was good but needs to last longer.....
The halloween experience sounds cool though - the castle is haunted according to the ride Hex? |
