How many times should you give someone a chance?

Hillside desolate

One second chance, only if the first cancellation had a reasonable explanation

Once usually.

Twice if you've had them before and it was really good.

Northampton Somewhere

Depends on the reason, who it was and if I could smell the bs already!!!

Whoever it was though wouldn't get more than 2, I have better things to do with my time.

The last reason was 'I saw you and thought you'd be disappointed so left' sort of thing

100% no more than one chance .

If there is no good reason or simply a no show they are blocked .

We have much better things to do than to give people who treat meets frivously a second chance .

i only give people one chance if they've been reliable before. if i've never met them at all they don't get one.

know it sounds harsh but i've noticed once someone gets flakey they tend to stay that way if you let them.

A meet we had was cancelled 3 times due to unforseen circumstances but have to say it was worth it when we were finally able to meet.

Unless you could tell they were making up excuses then we probably wouldn't give them many chances

With this I was on my way to a meet this morning and was to text when on their road. I text but got no response. So I'm left 40quid out of pocket due to having to pay for a taxi and stranded for 2.5 hours until the first bus home just so I don't have to pay for another one. Should I give them a second chance?

If I was really interested in them I would give them one chance. Mostly I would not give them a second chance as if they cancel it most likely means they have got cold feet, lost interest or are just a fantasist XXX

I had arranged a meet it was for several days ahead, I had to cancel as a friend was taken to hospital. I gave two days notice and tried to rearrange. Got blocked. Recently I had a hotel meet, at 6:00pm, a couple contacted me and said they will meet me at 8:00pm. At 7:30 ish, they said they were on their way. They never showed.

I think my cancellation was acceptable. The other unforgivable. I even asked them after the event if they were ok. They just ignored me.

Maybe once but cancelling doesn't give an automatic pass to a second meet

On Fab? One chance only! A no show or a single lie then in the bin! Lots of choice on here

One chance, life does get in the way most inconveniently now and again but not twice.

We've had to cancel one meet ever and try not to as we know how we'd feel with anticipation, prep, childcare etc.

One chance if the reason seems genuine. No second chance if it doesn't. No third chance...ever.

"Two strikes and out "

Same here but only if they have a good enough reason the first time. As a couple if we are out waiting for someone and they don't show up we have always got the advantage of being with each other so nothing wasted and will always still have a good time and make a night of it. I can imagine it must be so frustrating for a single to be left there with a no show

Just one.

I booked a meet and then checked with the Mrs but she was going to being overtime on that day. So I had to cancel and reschedule. The meet was brilliant.

So even the best have to cancel

Depending upon the individual and whether I had a good feeling about them, I would give them a second chance. If I thought I was being messed around, it would be a very definite goodbye. I won't stand for being made a fool of, nor should anyone.
