Had my first meet with a couple The lady messaged me saying they would be 5 mins, never showed up. Then disappeared of fab. I never get a lot of meets anyway so feeling a tad deflated ?????? |

I'm not surprised you are and sorry to heat it happened to you - sadly all you can do is chalk it up to experience and hope it doesn't happen again.
Had you actually taken steps to confirm they were a genuine couple and not a single bloke posing as one? i.e. talked to them both on the phone or via video and spent some time exchanging messages/pics etc before agreeing to meet? |

I had spoken to both on chat a number of times and thought they were ok. I would never missed a meet. I once travelled three hours there and back for an hours social. Unfortunately that was nearly a year ago and nothing else before this supposed meet |

It's happened to me before (almost the same scenario). Just try to connect with more people at clubs and events. |

No reason to be ignored, just be friendly and chat, it's great. |

Bottom line is you should always ask to speak to a female on the phone. If they don't want to give out their number say you will give them yours and they can withold theirs.
If they won't do this they are almost certainly fake. |

Only been on here a week and had two verified people not show which on both times was very annoying as I'd travel to meet them at their request!
On the flip side I've had one meet which was fantastic.....1 in 3 is that a good stat ? |

I can't understand why any bloke wouldn't at least phone/cam chat before a meet anyway so that at least he knows the other is genuine and s out men pretending to be women.
So sorry not a lot of sympathy here just use common sense before you commit to anything or else only got yourself to blame. |

My first meet was just for a coffee. Had to wait 4 hours after the agreed time for numerous reasons that i wont bore you with and she buggered off after 10 mins as her hubby was home unexpectedly and rang her. I think you would understand if i left fab immediately after that! I didnt and went on to meet some lovely ladies. So put it down to experience and move on. |
