Mine took nearly 3 years to fully heal up. But I did catch the ring on a car in the breakers yard and put a rip in the nipple the day after having it done,
And I was using shower jell, this was stopped after advice from the the lady who done it and it healed up fairly soon after |

I've got both of mine done... they are about 7 weeks into the healing process and doing really well.. I've got bars in.
I had very little sensation before and now have lots.. and I agree that seatbelts are awful. Which kinda sucks when half my job is driving haha. But it's worth it. |

"I'd love too but I'm to scared x"
They do hurt but only for a second... it definitely wasn't as bad as I was expecting. The soreness then fades fairly quickly. Then it's just keeping them clean until they are healed.
I love mine... can't believe I waited so long |

Increased sensitivity in A's nipples is a real plus.
However, there is a risk of injury getting caught on edges. I won't go into details but one nipple bar was involuntarily removed from A's body when she caught it on the shower door edge
Sensitivity remains even after both now removed. |

I'm thinking of getting this done. I'm worried I'm not going to let anyone near for a long time until it heals.
I love my boobs being played with. But 9 months seems a LONG time for them to be off limits |

shower exfoliation puff....I still remember the pain of doing that
Had mine done for 21 years now...never had a problem apart from the shower incident. |

I had my left pierced years ago before I had kids, took it out to breastfeed and it healed up after 2 weeks. (It had been pierced about a year before hand )
I had both pieced about 1 month ago while cleaning my bar (I only used salt water in a clean shot glass and cotton buds)
I accidentally pulled the bar out and had to push it back in. This caused an infection and mastitis. After antibiotics I'm all good the pain in completely gone and they feel healed
Good look hope this helps |

Hi!
I've also been looking at getting a nipple piercing - really grateful for all the advice and tips
I'm in north east Wales and have easy access to Chester and Manchester - are there any recommendations for piercers in these areas?
Thanks Steph |

Holier Than Thou is a well known and reputable studio in Manchester. I had my left nipple repierced by Becs there. |

Yes be careful of infection and can take upto a year to heal but well worth it. My wife never got any pleasure from having her nips played with or kissed but since having them done she’s a totally different person |

"T's thinking off getting her nipple pierced looking at pros and cons any advice ? "
Mine has been pierced over 10 years, buy breast pads and saline. Cleaned and change pads regularly throughout the day and mine healed within couple months!
It's enhanced sensitivity |

Had it done, but for me didn't do anything for sensitivity and kept snagging the damn thing so only ever experienced pain.
Didn't feel a thing having it done but I have no feeling there anyway.
Took it out after about 5 years after snagging it on the duvet yet again and deciding enough was enough. |

most fundamental aspects |
"This has been in my mind for some time.
Does it hurt? Lol"
It was on my mind for about ten years.
I finally had enough of putting it off (there were other factors involving spiting someone- completely out of character for me but a very long story). I went to Download festival, got lots of Dutch courage and got it done there and then. Completely the wrong way to go about it even though the piercing tent was Über clean and it was all done properly.
The right way, is a specialist piercer. Not some jewellery store with a gun. Your piercer will check in with you a few weeks after and have a look to see that it’s healing nicely. They don’t (mine doesn’t) charge for this after care. A professional piercer sees it as their art that they are privileged to impart on others. Yes they charge but for the involvement, it’s great value for money.
Pain:
Not really. Imagine a tetanus shot and it’s not nearly as bad as that. It’s often different for a guy too, as with small nipples it’s done deep almost behind the nipple.
It’s healed up nicely but.....
Piercings can be as addictive as tattoos. Because of family considerations, I couldn’t have anything above the neck. I have managed my addiction to maximum one a year.
I got a guiche (perineum) done next and wow it hurt at the time. Something like a 3.2mm needle and bar to minimise rejection. Almost no pain after though and fully healed with aftercare. Then a lorum (base of the penis by the testicles) it was a ring which fell out during sex and rejected when I tried to put it back in. Waited nearly a year for that to heal before getting it redone. Next on the list is either the pubic (skin in the triangle) or my eyebrow, as the family thing is no longer relevant.
Sorry very long post. I love my piercings
Oh and finally. Titanium not stainless steel. If your body is highly reactive, there’s PTFE which is the same as Teflon and underground gas and water mains so is non reactive. |

I have pierced nipples and just love them, also a PA with more to come when I have the time. I adore female piercings, they are a source of constant fun, before during and after sex and day to day life. Yes any piercing hurts initially, but a few seconds pain is worth the lifetime of pleasure. |
