I can't say for absolute certain but I think nudist/dogging beaches are something of a rarity in the North West.
Closest nudist beach would probably be Morfa Dyffryn in North Wales...so a bit of a trek to get there. Not sure if there's much dogging action there either... |

The open golf championship starts next week, they'll have all the cameras up on the cranes by now along with the media tent city.

But the dunes there are amazingly big and spacious most other times, you could probably still find some quiet spots but might take a wee bit more looking  |

We've been to Ainsdale beach, drive on turn left, go to the end and walk into the dunes.
We generally arrange to meet and put up an umbrella to make us easy to find.
You will have to keep a lookout as rangers do patrol but you can see people coming from some way off, its good fun. |
