We Dont use snap chat but just noticed that you can see where all your friends are and can also see what their doing.
There was an update with snapchat maps.
So if anyone who values their privacy should look at their settings.

The new update shows your location on the map as default, if you don't want to show on your contacts maps you have to go into settings and enable ghost mode. |

Open snap chat.pinch fingers (as off zooming out) this opens map mode.
Choose ghost mode, now no one can see you but you. |
