There was 3foot of water cascading through it last time I went,
It depends where you're going to be honest as people say albufeira but they can be staying a couple of miles away in adjoining resorts.
The old town area is ok but tbh there was a big increase in beggars and druggies around the square the last time( I went for a specific reason) but wouldn't go again
Partly because the worlds huge and I love going to new places |

I went to albufeira years ago with my parents.our hire car got broken into and had a few belonging stolen, then as we were walking round we had quite a few different people try to sell us stolen gold necklaces,and one time we saw a guy who was completely off his head on drugs and he was hugging and licking a street lamp. But apart from that it was quite nice  |

When i was in my early 20s i use to go to Albufeira every summer and i can tell you is nice people from all over the world around, some for quite holidays but the majority was there for fun, good clubs and bars good food at sea side easy pulling everywhere sexy woman |

Carvoeiro is nice although not the best beach. Better beaches to be found at Alvor and Gale/Salgados, as well as lots of smaller ones.  |

We found a nice beach just round the corner... Fairly quiet with a little rock pool... |
