Just had a friend text us to say a couple had been thrown out of our local Leisure Centre for shagging.
First they were warned to cool it for shagging in the jacuzzi, then were kicked out for shagging in the male showers.
They were reported by other customers who were there at the time.
You have to admire their nerve.

"Whats the difference from public sex and dogging. Thats half the thrill getting caught."
I hope there is a difference!
You would assume that kids are at a leisure centre. You would hope that doggers are sensible enough to make sure that this would be extremely unlikely.... |

Not exactly the same as dogging though is it?, you are highly unlikely to be walking through a dark carpark in the middle of nowhere at midnight by accident....whereas you may very well be attending an adults only session at a leisure centre because you simply want to relax without kids being around...
Doesn't mean you are fair game to be forced to watch people having sex just because there are no kids present...

Not saying that dogging is classed as public sex yes and if caught is illegal. The whole thrill of public sex is the thought of getting caught that was my point. |

It may seam like fun for the couple, but in the end not everyone wants to see each others bodily functions. Even if the whole place is full of adults.
I may want a jacuzzi, but would I want it if I could see people fucking in it?
Guess it depends on what they look like.

Have since found out there were no kids about.
No kids are allowed in the Health Suite area where jacuzzi, steam room etc are and it's got a swipe card door.
There were, however, adults in the area and it was one or more of these who complained.
As for what they looked like, we asked that too, our friend said it was a safe bet that they were good banjo players.

Used to work on a golf course, it was ladies day on the course and a very peeved lady told me "there is a couple in the rough on the 9th having intercourse", offt, ask a swinger to tell people to stop having fun? I thought.
Figured if i walked slowly enough the problem would of gone away by time i got there, so 2 speak. |

Too bloody right, it says "NO SMOKING" all over the place but nowhere does it say "NO SHAGGING".
Serves 'em right for not abiding by the law!

the thought of getting court is a big difference than doing it right were people will walk in and out wether there were children in the pool or not. and they still could be put on the sex offenders reg it is not just about children.

Exactlt ,tolerance is about accepting those who do not share your kinks, forcing others to be part of it is wrong. |

So true.Thats why the law allows public sex if no one is shocked, so a bunch of consenting adults can do what they like in the privacy of their own car park, as it were
And watching someone shag is OK as long as they dont object to it-you're not a peeping tom if people want you to watch! |

The main difference in this case I think is that they ignored a warning. If it's an open place with kids there, then that's another crime altogether.
Basically, sex in a place where you could cause offence is a crime. There were complaints, there was a warning, it was ignored, they got kicked out and were very lucky not to get arrested.
Dogging goes on where you intend to bump into likeminded people, sort of exhibitionists and voyeurs scenario. You would be hard pressed to prove that there was an intent to offend any person there by having sex in front of them, if they were there for the same reason as you were.
Be careful though, sneaking a peek at a courting couple, and you could still be done for voyeurism, as watching without permission is an offence under a seperate section of the Sex Offences Act to the one that covers "dogging". |

sex in a public place where you could offence to members of the public is an offence. Whether it is a swimming pool or a carpark. The 'member of the public' could be the arresting officer. All outdoor sex is potentially committing an offence. |
