Fake profiles..

Generally the thought process is everyone is fake until you meet them. We're all just represented by pixels and words on a screen in here.
However, we are always sceptical about non photo verified / meet verified profiles, because its not hard and i guess it shows a lack of commitment. |

There is one lady from my area who has a new profile every week (sometimes more) and is usually asking for a lift from here to there "right now". She is also a known/proven escort on another site. Just today she made a yet ANOTHER new profile! |

Personally I've started to enjoy fake profiles, as I'm the detective of the couple.
Once I get an inkling someone is fake, you can bet your bollox I'm getting my Sherlock on. I look for anything I can to identify where their pics come from and then present them with evidence. They tend to block us then, job done. |

I told a female friend about this a few weeks ago and she signed up lasted 4 days then deleted her profile said she wasn't her thing.

Time wasters are our greatest frustration. They are happy to lead you all the way to arranging to meet up, then when that day arrives no longer respond to any messages, moving on to waste the time of the next person. |

Think you need to have parameters. I wouldn't meet without a chat first ,I wouldnt drive hours either ,so basically communication and not being on my doorstep or the other end of the country I'd hit it |

A Female who has recently joined with one or no pictures, Hardly any profile text but has excepted loads of friends is probably a fake profile in my opinion, I've seen loads like this local to me, Most delete their profile after a week |

I had a few of those when I first joined fab After a while you spot them more easily Profiles with multiple veris from others with multiple veris tend not to be fake especially if the veris are all recent... cause some single guys keep the profile after splitting from their other half and still pretend it's a couple at times too |

I think some people get too horny/desperate and lose the ability to think carefully about what's happening. So they become easy prey for 'fakes and timewasters'

Just be selective who you interact with. No green flag or green tick, then give a wide berth.
I see loads of female profiles, been on here for weeks but the only symbol on their profile is the mobile phone one. I just bypass them and go for verified profiles instead. |

We've had our fare share of fake accounts we had on message us daily has a single guy what was a real account eventually he got the message after we said no a number of times and blocked. Then another account was opened and the message daily was back, we blocked that. Then another account all the time same guy we then blocked all single guys which is not what we wanted to do, but the a message off a couple profile, you've guessed it same guy. now it's got to the point after a number of different couple accounts he has set up we've now taken to just hide our profile for a while, maybe it might work but ruins it for us really. |

One thing I am sick of, getting messages from guys from suspicious couple profiles that have awful profiles and one pic of a cock saying ' come fuck/blow me now'
Pretty lame, but easy to spot these clearly fake profiles. |

I couldn't agree more  It does the site no favours. I'm sick to death of fantasists, liars, cheats, newbies who have no clue how this works, people with more than one profile so they 'stand more chance'and people who message asking if I really am a single bi female as there are so many fantasists on here. Hence I'm not meeting. At least at a club my gender is obvious. And I'm not wasting my time on idiots  |

Has anyone else come across a guy claiming to be a pilot? He's very attractive but deletes his profile after one day. Very weird.  Maybe just cheating and scared? I find it hard to tell now. No one is just honest!!! |

There's been one like that here - three new profiles in two days: just by adding an "m" to the previous name, reported for demanding £200 for a meet. FFS! |

The fakes are there on all sites (we have experienced it first hand).
How are we to get fresh blood on here if the opinion is that all newbies are fakes?
We were all new on here at some point.
Agree there are tell tale signs and some are really convincing but you can't tar everyone with the same brush.
Maybe the regulars should all delete their accounts then rejoin as a newbie to see how it feels from the other side. |
