We've got the vegas model had it about a month finding it great make sure your putting it on a very flat surface otherwise you will feel bumps on the bottom
Cost about £7 a week to run that's keeping it on 24/7 and using the spa itself a couple of times a day
Hope this helps |

We have the Miami and it's amazing... really cheap to run and find it more comfy than the hard ones...
It's also cheaper to fill up with hot water first rather than waiting for it to heat up.. |

Thanks for all your input so far, I've looked at the lazy spa but wasn't sure how bubbly it gets, so still looking and considering all options not in hurry yet but if you spot any good deals let me know please thankyou |

"Thanks for all your input so far, I've looked at the lazy spa but wasn't sure how bubbly it gets, so still looking and considering all options not in hurry yet but if you spot any good deals let me know please thankyou " they do the trick. Obviously it depends how many airjets are in a tub but the miami is brilliant for the price . |

I'm dropping a public information notice in.
For those that like to romp in sex ponds.
To decrease the chances of the condom breaking, use a silicone-based lubricant with the condom. These lubricants are condom safe and water-resistant.
Do not put on the condom while you are in the water. Rolling on the condom while you are out of the water decreases the chances of water getting into a condom.
I'd also give your chappy a good drying first.
I'm lucky I'm looking after a friends plastic tub. He's stuck in a town house. Hopefully he won't move soon.
I like turning the tub off lighting up some candles and having a nice quiet hot bath.
Ive also got an ex maidenhead aquatics fish pond. Which I use as a cold tub, which is lovely on a hot day.
Anyway.. Have fun in the ultimate Ice melter/ aphrodisiac.

Apparently Homebase are doing a deal on the Paris hottub.
If memory serves me right, they also had one that has polystyrene inside so it has built in seating.
Another forum thread suggested using bromine instead of chlorine... |

Can't wait. " we have ours on 4 heavy duty pallets with the lazy spa dome over the top xx |

We're seriously considering a hot tub, primarily to help with Mr Ns arthritis. I'm pleasantly surprised to see the inflatables recommended.
I'm not great with too many chemicals on my skin do they need huge amounts? |

You can replace chlorine with bromine if you have reactions,no real difference in cost, just depends on your level of reaction. Best bet is to get a floater which will release the right amount of chemicals for you. |

Ok. Thank you.
The term floater has slightly different meanings here lol. |

"Just got ours absolutely pleased with it, Mrs has arthritis and has helped her, so far.
Just keeping a watch on the pool with a test strip and using slow dissolving chlorine tabs is very easy"
Thank you |

I have the Mspa Alpine and it is great. Had it over a year. Gazebo over the top so can use it in bad weather with side panels to make it less windy and more private if needed. Just keep the chemicals up to date and always good to go. Loads of bubbles. |

"Has anyone got cats and an inflatable hot tub and do the two mix?
Got one cat who insists on sitting on it as it's warm. Expecting to come down to a flood one day"
Could they puncture it do you think ? |

Suggest a good awning or canopy to accompany any new hot tub and a level base for it to sit on or you will get a sag after a while and like anything but the best u can afford op |

Don't know about the hot tubs but had a couple of paddling pools ruined by cats.
Would like to hope hot tubs are made of a lot thicker material... |

lay z spa Monaco delivered and waiting to go into garden room..
the Monaco seats 6 - 8 and is much thinner than the others.... may clad it in wood too
Tesco direct was £550 .. as opposed to £700+ in most other places |

Inflatables are good but If your serious about getting one speak to some of the hot tub companies that supply and install hot tubs. some take in old tubs in part exchange when people upgrade then sell on the reconditioned tubs so you can get a bargin |

Right, I've done it, gone out and bought the Hawaii today. It's £399 in the range, £499 in Homebase. The range out of stock for past two weeks but Homebase did a price match!!
Gazebo is on order and should be delivered this week, the plan was to put gazebo in place first. But I couldn't and wouldn't wait lol. It's up and running, getting water temp and levels right. Should be in it tomorrow
Next weekend gazebo and then start building a frame around it for cladding. |

I've currently got a pool - one of these ones where you inflate a ring which floats on the water as you fill it.
Hooked it up with a filter and keep the water clean with Chlorine tabs so not really a huge deal different to running a hot tub - aside from heating the water - and i've been looking into getting a heater for it anyway.
Been having some problems with the inflatable ring. Fixe three punctures so far, and whilst I haven't been able to find any more, it still keeps going down on me.
I do wonder if these inflatable pools / hot tubs may be susceptible to the hot weather, but I am certainly contemplating replacing the pool with a Lay-Z-Spa hot tub when funds allow.
It'll probably get more use |

Not a huge fan of inflatable tubs. They can be very expensive to run due to lack of insulation. They cannot heat the water and provide bubbles at the same time, it's one or the other. This means that the water cools down very quickly while using it. Getting the chemicals right is vital too.
We hired one for Christmas a couple of years ago and it's what made us decide to buy a proper one. We enjoyed our few days with it but a week later I ended up with a severe skin infection because the company we hired from didn't provide us with adequate chemicals.
We did a lot of research and bought a coast islander 5 seater tub from a local supplier just over a year ago, it was 4 grand well spent! It runs 24/7 and costs 20 quid a month. We empty it 3 times a year, one of which is when it gets a full service and deep clean from the tub technicians. We use our tub almost every night, test the water daily and treat accordingly. We also shock the water once a month too. |

I'd say maybe rent one first, get a feel of it. I've got a layz spa Vegas and it's good but unless you want to leave it constantly running to keep it heated it can take a good day to heat up to 40 degrees. Fun little things for every now and again but they can be a pain to set up and take down! |

we bought a LayZspa Monaco
its brilliant and much better than many fixed tubs we have been in (less limiting on seating)
comfortably seats 6 and would do 8..
its slightly larger in diameter than the others in the range but also has a thin wall so it looks less like an adult padling pool... the result is it holds about 1.5x more water... tesco online about £500...
money well spent...we are in it every night and will move it indoors in the winter
