I quite like wearing latex once in a while, and I have been told I look good in it (got the photos, if anyone is interested).
But latex dresses are very expensive, easily damaged, and hard to get into and out of.
So I think I really prefer lovely soft shiny slippery plastic.

Latex is really popular and definitely not taboo... However, the good stuff is expensive and you need to put in some quality time maintaining it. Plus it's time consuming too so it is less common on here...
But as you can see, there are many lovers, me included. |

We love latex.. We struggled to find latex off the peg to fit..so we learned to make our own. Ist thing we learned latex sheet is not expensive.. it's the time and care it takes to make it. We did a one day course in that there London village at latex Jim's.. very intense but so worthwhile and you even come away with an outfit you make during the day to fit like a glove..all angles covered..block pattern making, fitting pop studs and zips etc..best money we ever spent! Xx |

I'm a big fan of latex. I don't think there is a huge taboo for women in latex with being worn more and more by female celebrities and becoming more accessible through more mainstream sex shops.
Certainly though I have found it does seem to carry a stigma when worn by a straight male, even when visiting fetish nights people have assumed things about my sexual orientation purely from the fact I wear Latex. I have also found that on this site there does seem to be a negative attitude from certain women about men wearing latex, even to the extent where I have received abusive messages! sad really considering how you would think people would be a little more open minded in a place like this |

I started with a latex mini skirt, which I adore, then went on to a dress, then latex leggings which look bloody amazing on, and then another dress and so on. Would recommend the skirt as a nice starting point, and don't forget the polish xx |

Latex is far better these days than it ever was, far more colours than just black or red.
Pvc is more durable within reason.
Both have their strengths and weakness's although they are both different and carry a different allure.
