I think im fat , actually I know I am , but without blowing my own trumpet, if only i could , id have to say i have had alot of positive comments about my fatness , i think in general fat is sexy and feels nice , but like tits ? |

From my experiences on here a lot of men look to find a fault that is what's stopping them getting meets.
Their body, age, height, location etc. When it's usually something simple. Like the fact women look at a profile before answering a message  |

In real life? Yeah.
On here? No.
And thats not a dig at fat men. But people need to understand that you're on a sex site with a limited number of women and couples and about 10-15 men to every one. In any such lopsided marketplace, someone has gotta lose. And considering, the very layout of this site should make it obvious that visuals play a big part in selection, it would be easy to draw the conclusion that more "mainstream" looks will garner more attention.
If you want to stand out with these, its best to frequent the real life socials and events. Its not rocket science. |

It's not about being fat ! It's like saying can a tall/short person be sexy. It's subjective.
I think very overweight is visually unattractive yet that person could be an absolute diamond and have other traits which become attractive over time.
It's more about compatibility and personality I know a few athletic/slim people who are twunts and a few that are as beautiful inside as they are visually. And vice versa. |

Exactly. Which is why we posted the statement about athletic women. It highlighted the invalid statement about fat men by posting a similar statement about women. Each to his/her own we say. On a site where people are looking for NSA sex then physical attraction surely is a major consideration. But those seeking long term love and suchlike may well consider other personal traights above the looks of a movie star. Imho. |

You caricature yourself reductively into being "a fat man no woman wants", if you don't have confidence in what you are, others won't be attracted to you regardless of whatever your physique is.

OP you need to use your profile as your shop front. What are you offering the ladies of Fab? What can you offer that the other twenty guys who messaged a lady cannot?
Say more about yourself, likes and dislikes but crucially not a list of demands. Smile in your photos. Have a variety of pics. Get to clubs and socials. |

I'm not fat but I don't get hardly any replies and those I do get are only because I reeled them in with a baited question about one of their interests or something specific in their profile. It goes nowhere though. The current lot in my area aren't interested in me so I may have another look in the future but I've given up for now.

You've been on Fab for all of three weeks. It takes a lot of patience for a guy to get a meet here...I believe the average is 6-9 months. And most ladies do not wish to be "reeled in".
That said, one of the best ways to start a conversation is indeed to ask about something in their profile that might be a common interest or which fired your curiosity.
All guys, whatever our body size, need to remember that there might easily be 25 men for every woman on here. As I am often wont to say....when writing, think "What can I say that will encourage this lady to reply to me rather than the other 20 yellow bars in her inbox?" |

This will be true. Just because someone likes a certain body type does not mean they will be attracted to everyone with that body.
Show me 20 fat guys, and they will have differing bodies anyway...in terms of where the fat is distributed, how well they carry it, how flexible and fit they are. What "does it" for one lady will not for another. I've been turned down by a woman who loved my look but actually didn't like that I'm pretty agile for my size. Your mileage may vary, as they say. |

I'm 17 & 1/2 st so definitely no lightweight & I'm the wrong side of 50 but I have found if your clean & well presented there are people who will like you enough to meet you, women have the same insecurities as us guys do so we are all in the same boat mate.
Confidence is sexy if it's sincere as no one likes a big head so get stuck in messaging & let your personality bowl them over. |

Op be yourself man dont worry they will like you or not, let you shine through and stop worrying or overthinking, take a few differant pics, change a few things on your profile.
No one is an expert, but fab is not the be all and end all of life, as many have said people love all shapes and sizes, maybe attend a meet nearby if any, chin up happy fabbing. |

As many have said ..you have only been on here a short time and the ratio of men to ladies is not in your favour.
I suggest you rewrite your profile and consider why people would want to meet you, rather than what YOU are looking for.
Don't think body size is the reason people don't get in touch. Everyone finds different attributes appealing. |
