Some people definitely do !!
I'm 40 and if I'm told old for some fabbers then so be it, that's their preference so why would I embarrass myself trying to dupe someone into thinking I'm younger
So I keep my pics updated so people can see what they are getting  |

It never occurred to me to make up a fab age, though I know many many many who do. If someone fibs about one thing, it's easy to wonder what else is untrue in what they say and do. |

This is something that really intrigues me, the amount of people I've spoken to who have met people who have then been disappointed when the individual is quite clearly not like the photograph!! this is simply ridiculous! Thinking people would not notice! it absolutely astounds me that here of all places, surely there is something/someone for everybody on and it simpler to be honest ? |

Frankly, it doesn't much matter to us what age people put on their profiles here. We only meet in clubs; someone 60 can look 45 and someone 45 can age badly and look 60. We have seen both ends of the age scale
We go by what people look like in real life and whether there is mutual attraction
But we are considering purchasing one of those biometric readers and insisting on machine-readable passports before indulging in any hanky-panky

I not really worried about the age as such but I want to meet the guy in the pic that's who I have chosen to meet so why the hell should I hang around and play with someone who looks nothing like the pic hes given ? so no its not a age thing at all and while we are on the subject of cock pic's I seen a few fake of them too ..you get to a meet and theirs a manky shrivelled cock looking at you and you think hang on the pic's he showed me were more Italian stallion not over cooked cocktail sausage .... nope no way going forward |

Our experience is that most people knock a few years off their age. And me being cheeky I'll usually ask them what their real age when we meet. Don't think we've come across as much as ten years though.

I've been told that I look older than I am. I can't help that.
When I was 18 someone thought I looked 30. Maybe I just have one of those faces, but I really don't see the point in lying about my age.
I'm almost tempted, sometimes, to put a photo of my driving license up just to silence the doubters - but I won't and, to be fair, why should I? |

I have a theory that a lot of men on here start to manipulate their age once the reach the age of 50, and bump it down a year or two, then if they try and change it back it never works  |

I know a lot of guys start to play about with age settings when they reach 50, i met one that was 64 but had 52 on his profile, he's still here as 54 and that was about 6 years ago.
I didn't care one iota about his age, i was more interested in the person, same goes for women too.
Actually, i nearly discounted him as i thought him a little young.
I've seen some in their twenties that will never be a fraction as sexy as certain ladies at 60. Some people jist have that special something that others dont.
It really is just a number.
If i turned up for a meet and the meet was majorly different from profile, i would have no problem just walking away.
Generally i find build to be a bigger fib than age. Clever angled photos and a delusional use of the word 'average' in the description is a bigger issue.

I assume that most people will be telling fibs about one thing or another. We feel it's best to take things with a pinch of salt in this lifestyle. As long as they give us a good time that's all that matters to us. I don't think many people tell serious lies though.

I state my real age on my profile. I know people who alter their age in order to fit into people's filters. Altering by a few years isn't a problem, but I have met with people who look nothing like their photos and it doesn't go well !!! |

We give our correct ages 58 and 59. Which unfortunately takes us outside a lot of peoples 55 yr old limit - so, very tempting to lop off a few years. On occasions we are contacted by people who's age limits we are outside. When we point this out they normally reply. No problem, age is just a number!!!!! |

I did exactly that, but because of the bloody filters, not my appearance. It cuts out loads of people you can contact. I also mention it in my profile. I am constantly told I look younger than I am and all my pics are recent. |
