What are your thoughts? I either get people loving my tats, and others hating them. Some even giving me abuse about them. I love tattooed women, so hot. |

I hate them, but there is no need for you to get abuse, it's your choice and enjoy them! |

Love tattoos myself. I'm not a big fan of tribals though but each to their own. The art that goes into some is amazing.
I have 5 so far and many more in the pipeline.
Got to love a woman with ink too . |

"it does amuse me some people think their so "out there" and wild having a tattoo,,when actually their often the most dull people imaginable"
i'm boring as fuck. people imagine all kinds of shit about me because of my tattoos. i had them all done when i was in a long term relationship and just wanted to claim my body back after having kids. |

"My tattoos are personal not random xx I love them xx so do other as far as Jamaica xx delicate but with meanings xx"
Well said. The tattoos I have so far and will be getting have a personal story or meaning to me.
I get my tattoos for myself not to please others. |

"I like mine and I couldn't give a fuck what anyone else thinks.
That said, I've never had abuse for them either. "
I totally agree I love mine and that's all that matters. I have a full back and torso. I have met men with lots of them (and woman) and thought 'your a tosser' yet I've also met men/woman with lots and thought 'your ace' but it wasn't their ink that made me think that about them. |

I love my tattoo's, I like men with tattoo's. If someone does not like them that's okay we are all entitled to an opinion but won't stop me having them. |

Being heavily tattooed I love them, in fact in half an hour I'm off for a full day sitting to have my whole chest done!
Excited but not a fan of the actual process |

Both, to be honest. On the whole, I'm a fan, I have one or two and I'm always amazed at the things a skilled artist can do with such an unusual and restrictive medium. From a sexual/aesthetic point of view, I find heavy tattooing on a nice young lady to be most pleasing to the eye.
On the other hand, I've seen a LOT of really, really horrible tattoos. Any scratcher with a few quid for an eBay tattoo machine and a hygiene certificate can set up shop, and as tattoos are becoming less socially divisive and increasingly desirable to the Heat-Magazine hordes who want to copy everything Cheryl Cole does, setting up as a crap tattooist and undercutting the local "real" tattooists is a perfectly viable business model. |

...meaning the issue of poor quality tattoos and skilled artists potentially being pushed out of business is only going to increase.
Should have really finished making my point before posting that reply, sorry! |

Never really understood the fascination with, or need for, tattoos. I prefer to be able change any ornamentation to suit the occasion. However I am sometimes attracted to men and women with tattoos, but despite their tattoos rather than because of them. |

I'd never use the word hate here as it's such a bad thing in life to hate.
Having said that and appearing all hippy, they don't do anything for me at all.
I guess I'm preprogrammed to like the female form the way it comes, but I have plenty of friends who have them and live and let love bring a good mantra on a swinging site I'd say |

Hates a strong word! I'm not a fan, but it's a persons own choice. I find I'm less attracted to women with tattoos, though having said that, there are some heavily tattood rock chick types that look very lush. I guess I'm confused |

Depends, I haven't looked at yours, some of the newer ones are OTT on the colour front.
I have 4 now and will be adding to my shoulder one later this year, its a work in progress. |

"I do appreciate good art work on the skin. It does give people that extra bit
But tattoos wouldn't suit everyone and some look so much better without them. "

Some tattos look good. However, it depends on the placement, the age of the tattoo and design. Too many tattoos fade and blur. I do tend to find that tattoos take the individual was away from someone. If you want to be unique then avoid tattoos. Be original. |

I never understand the point of threads like this - some people don't like peas, or dogs, or the smell of petrol, or coffee, or Mondays.....some people like toast, and Wednesdays, and crisps, and the colour blue..... |

Totally agree.
It's also worth recognising the fact that a tattoo might look hot on some pert stunning fit 18 year old.
The same tattoo on my great gran is not likely to be anywhere near as appealing.
In other words it is often not the tattoo as such. It is the person wearing it. |

Agreed. Although if I reach 90 I'm going full tiger-face. |

I'm a long way short of 90 but a full tiger face couldn't do me any harm either. Lol |

I think you'll find the reason tattoos fade are because people don't look after them.
They will happily go on holiday, won't give a second thought about their tattoos and then wonder why their once solid black tattoo has now turned a rather medium grey colour. It has nothing to do with the tattoo itself.
If people don't look after them, then yes they will either and fade. |
