Why people who have been on this site a while or returning still use old pictures on their profiles? This is not a dig at anyone but can't understand with today's technology why they do not upload more recent ones. Fair enough if you have old and recent ones but I've noticed a few profiles with the only pics from 2008 surely everyone's appearances change after 5+ years. |

"Some people don't age well "
Yes but would they not rather be upfront than embarrassed being turned down when meeting someone face to face to be told you don't look like your profile pics, I know I would |

I wonder why too! I've been on around eighteen months and sometimes have seen the same pictures uploaded on multiple occasions thus giving a more recent date stamp. If I turned up and the pics didn't match I'd turn around! |

Exactly so why would people put themselves through the embarrassment. I've had a few meets in the past where they didn't look anything like their pics or lied about their height ect as if your not going to notice when you eventually meet haha |

Did you leave? Interesting second question - how much difference is acceptable? An inch in height? |

Yes I've been on and off here for years and still see the same pictures on here from way back then. I always update my pics and I'm not a fan of taking pics of myself.
Couple of inches on the height thing you can get away with but it's when they say 6ft on the profile and turn out to be 4ft 11 |
