"The right ink on the right woman can be classy, others just look like tramp stamps... "

Tramp stamps are normally the lower back tribal pieces with hearts and what not.

Things like Dolphins, Winnie the Pooh, a baby devil, a Tasmanian devil or a sunflower etc all badly placed usually on a sagging tit just look awful and I despair every time I see such a thing

"Yes love them have 5 but some depending on the artist can be brutal or unimaginative "

Uninmaginative? Surely the tattoo design comes down to the customer.

Never in my life have I heard of someone walking into a tattooist's and saying "I want a tattoo, doesn't matter what, you pick!"

Never in my life have I heard of someone walking into a tattooist's and saying "I want a tattoo, doesn't matter what, you pick!" "

I couldn't imagine doing that !!

I knew I wanted a tattoo but looked through books and Internet before hand and it took ages before I decided what I wanted !!

And the tattooist I went to was great, they even chatted with me as to why I wanted my tattoo and to consider if I would regret it at at later stage ....

They were a really sound couple, in fact the tattooist was getting his chest tattoo removed, and told me how painful his sessions were

I love my tattoo as I thought about it, I've tropical flowers which describes my personality as me as a individual, I'm very feminine but my hummingbirds are my mum side, small and fierce when I'm protecting what's mine ( my kids)

So now a few years after that tattoo I would love to add to it, I'm wanting to keep the theme of my original tattoo but I need to find the flower that is fitting how I feel and the bird that is reflecting how I feel or maybe an insect ..

Actually, I do know some artists that will seriously discount their rates if they get to do a tattoo they want and not the customer.

Obviously, you don't have to have the tattoo if you don't like it.

I Don't like when people have their hands and faces inked. To me it looks grim . Nothing wrong with people doing it just my personal view .

Body tattoos I can take and leave. For me it varies on the type of body along with what the tattoo is of. .

I am much more into purity of skin and body . Seems rare these days as most people I see have metal or ink it seems lol

Absolutely horrible things. Usually found , but not exclusively, on common people who don't get the meaning that fashion is temporary. I cringe whenever I see one & hate being served by a waiter or waitress displaying them as they look dirty & unhygienic. In a few years there will be long queues around the block of the many practices that will be opening up to remove these vilest of fads. Tatoos on women are the worst as they remove all sense of femininity .on men ones assumes you are an ex prisoner, awol from the foreign legion or just plain stupid. Tatoos are never , never, ever remotely classy & to say so reveals an acute missundestanding of what class actually signifies.

The only point I have proved is that there are still some mindless, ill informed and quite openly rude people still allowed to roam around in a world that has left them behind, so no, actually thank you! Proof that even in today's society people like you, although few and far between, still sadly exist

Your entitled to your opinion, as is anyone else. However, you don't have to express it so rudely. THAT is the issue, not your actual view on whether you like them or not.

I don't care one way or another what you think of people with tattoo's. Your opinion means less than nothing to me, bit there's no need to be offensive. It's really just that simple, perhaps if you had the intelligence to realise that, it would be a start.

Bepanthen, in their infinte wisdom decided a couple of years ago that they didn't want to be associated as a tattoo healing cream. So, they changed a key ingredient that slightly bleaches and actually lifts colour out of the tattoo.

Also have you noticed how fast it now dries out?

The longer a tattoo can be moisturised for the better, Coco butter is great for this. Also using Bio Oil to help with the tiny micro scarring after the initial scabbing has gone

i was told a barrier cream first to prevent it getting infected then once healed unscented moisturiser.

moisturisers while it is healing push moisture into the tattoo and can potentially push some of the ink out.

good quality high factor sun cream is a must. one of mine got burnt despite using factor 50

I'm gonna guess (without reading the whole thread) that there are some that do, some that don't and some that say they don't mind.

"Absolutely horrible things. "

Well thats your opinion my opinion is your a wanker but hey ho
