...to ask someone who'd previously verified me, to verify me again after leaving fab?
It doesn't really sit right with me
I was on here over 2 years ago, under the name "Magic tongue"
I'd received some nice verifications from some lovely people, many of which have now left the site.
Someone that I have got back in touch with, is not meeting at the moment and it crossed my mind, that asking her to verify me, may result in her getting unwanted attention from people, that after seeing she'd verified me, may wrongly assume she must be meeting again.
....ok probably over thinking that one.
I guess it's more a question of not wanting to ask.
Anyway, I'm not obverse to starting again, going to socials and such as I did before. I had a lot of fun doing so but it might be a while before I can get myself to one that's a suitable date and location for me.
I'm not looking for advice on getting meets and verifications, I've done so before, and got on pretty well, after taking good advice from people here.
I just don't seem to have so much time these days and I'm conscious that I've been here a while now, without a single verification (which I know, looks baaaad!!)
And so, this is what led me to my question, would it be wrong?
...just wondered what peoples thoughts were, that's all.

"Aren't you best asking her rather than us?"
Not really, because I was just interested to know peoples general opinion about asking to be re-verified.
That was an example situation of why it may not be "the done thing"

Agree with the above poster. Ask her to write that she met you x months ago on a previous profile. Problem solved I've done it several times when guys I've met previous have reappeared and asked me to verify them again |

I have left and come back and people verified me, you're still the same person, you don't change just because your username did.
I've also verified people who've left and come back. Perfectly acceptable to me and most other people |

Agree with the above folk. If she puts she met you earlier this year or whenever it was. It will just help with your new profile and doesn't mean she gets attention cos it was a while ago. Just ask her ! |

Thanks everyone. So the general consensus so far seems to be, that it's ok to ask.
I don'differenthy but I was thinking it would be the opposite.
....Think it was from something I read here.
I can't actually imagine any of the people I've met before having a problem with verifying me again.
Afterall, as people have said, they could always state that they met me under a different profile, x amount of years ago.

Well I asked her after the views here, backed up my thoughts, that it would be ok to ask |
