Wouldn't going to the club be a bit like throwing them in the deep end? It did come to mind though. |

Clubs are the best way. They don't have to do anything and can just have a look around and chat to others. Pick a club without a dress down policy in the bar area so they can treat it like a regular pub night.  |

I had a friend who was interested. We went to a club and had a great time. I was able to stay with her, talk with others, she was able to watch and have a little play. She had a great time and has led onto other things for her. Clubs, good ones, have in my experience great people with great etiquette.
