Neither of us have played alone yet, not sure whether it will be something we try soon or not. Practically it would be fine with childcare no longer being an issue, but we like the idea of equal play  |

Is it because 'hot husbands ' are traditionally just guys who play away (on work conferences etc?)
Perhaps less women are turned on by the thought of their husband fucking another woman alone than vice versa?

I think it's less common than hotwifing, but it isn't as uncommon as this thread is making it out to be.
I did a thread a long while ago asking about this very thing and I got plenty of replies saying people did this (I can't remember the name of it). I think one problem is the way profiles are organized on fab - hot wife couples have a couple's profile because they aren't single women and very often the man likes to be at a meet to watch his wife play, whereas husbands who play alone very often have single male profiles, not couples profiles, because a couple trying to get a meet for only the single guy to play at is inherently suspicious. Plenty of single guys profiles here are men who play with their wife's consent. |

I've only experienced it once, with a couple I knew who were on here but I knew them before joining fab. It's not really making out it's uncommon though, is it? Just not as popular as hotwifing which is true.
I don't know if there are more playing with consent in Yorkshire but there aren't that many profiles here and in London/Home Counties. I've looked at a few profiles here and there.

Correction. Hotwifing is easier to achieve. We market ourselves as a Hotwife couple because we can. I hardly think we'd get very far if we started looking for a lady who was willing to fuck my husband whilst I sat in the corner and watched. And everybody knows how difficult is is for a married man to get an FB, so we don't bother looking. My husband does have one lover, but she's not from the swing scene or Fab. Finding men though is easy.

We're both looking for equal play. Unfortunately doing so may prove difficult. Mrs could meet separately at the drop of the hat. Hotwifing, cuckolding, there's just a wide acceptance by men that fucking a married woman is ok if the partner is cool with it or there watching. I'm likely to have major problems finding the same however, despite being super hot ahem  
When women communicate with us as a couple it appears to be critical to them that they meet and engage with us as a couple. There just isn't the openness to separate play. As others on this thread have suggested, this is leading us to think about setting up a single male account. Our sense is that women see single male accounts, where it's stated he's one half of a swinging couple, as much more of a clear sign that separate play really is ok. Sure there'll be lots of women who aren't into it but those who are seem to respond better to single male profiles.
Indeed, considering how easy it is for Mrs to meet men, we may move over entirely to a single male account. Why? Just in the search for some semblance of equality. So we can both enjoy extra curricular activities and not just the one of us. Weird I know but true |

We are slowly exploring hubby playing without me there but I wouldn't say it'll be the reverse of our current Hotwife scenario because the idea of him with other women doesn't do anything for me. He enjoys me seeing other men and loves when I come home and tell him about it (whilst usually sat on his face!) |

What an interesting topic. In some ways I wonder if (despite being open minded swingers) it is symptomatic of the different approach of men and women to sex generally.
For many men sex is mostly a purely physical act whereas for many women it is more complex than that (not saying this is always the case, clearly there are exceptions). Maybe men are naturally more voyeuristic?
As a man (and husband) I really enjoy seeing my wife with other men. Why? Not really sure other than it is really dirty and taboo (for vanilla people) and therefore v exciting.
However, I have absolutely no desire to be alone with another woman even if my wife wanted me to do it.
We love playing with couples with all involved. Parties/orgies with all involved (and again I am happy to sit back some of the time and be a voyeur). When we play with a single girl I again am very happy to sit back and watch but ultimately nice to join in...but no real desire to be one on one with the other girl. |

I'd say so. I think women want a lot more from men than just their bodies. They want a connection. So when it comes to playing with husbands I think they feel nervous about how much they're asking for and suspect any woman in her right mind wouldn't allow that for her husband, let alone enjoy it. |
