How Many Messages do you get

Hi All,
I've been speaking with a lady recently and I had an apology about her not replying to a message I sent saying she had overlooked it due to having 574 messages in her inbox,
Now as a average guy I don't get that many, probably due to the shear volume of men on here, and couple's and lady's being overwhelmed by the shear volume of messages they receive.
A couple of years ago friends of mine who were a swingi_g couples said they got about 20-30 a day, I was wondering if this is still the case or has the volume gone up over the years? |

On average every day for the last 4 years 200 a day
If I put pics up can be 1000
Currently have 1680 unreads since I cleared them a couple weeks back
That is the same for most females on here and yes I really do try to reply but not always possible but do appreciate people messaging  |

I am pretty good at keeping on top of mine so I don't usually have lots in my inbox. I delete without replying any that say 'hi babe/sexy/hun' etc in the title, so that narrows it down a lot for me 
I guess on an average day I get 20-30 if I don't log in but since I tend to be logged into Fab even when I am not actually lurking in the forum or whatever, it has been ten times that. New photos mean I get more messages too. |

The only time we got more than 5 in a day was when we put up new photos of SX , mostly single males , which we aren't meeting & didn't filter . We did reply to them all , we don't want to be rude, but that's the only time. I don't know how all these ladies & couples manage to get through all those messages . |

The only filter I have on my profile is age and women and I got 11 messages today. I get more if I put pics up but never hundreds. I think it goes to show that despite the thought that older women and bigger women are popular on here, the reality is pretty much like 'real life'. Or it could just be me not attracting anyone  |

Sometimes, a new photo might prompt a couple of profile views. Never any messages though and very rarely any fabs for the uploaded pic. (Usually only friends, who fab). |

Deps on what we post n meets n pics so on but a fare few even when not on line but profile was a tad harsh so cut a lot a dreamers n wanna be types out from start that just saves the delete n block button so much work n we are very up from about in shape n WE n decent looking so any that dont measure up get instantly deleted for not reading n respecting wishes n wants |

Either that or I am so unattractive that I get a meagre dozen at the most and with that I am being generous  |

I'm get about the same, but I'm the first to admit that I am picky and my profile makes that clear. Also I've been doing this long enough to know that most guys have at least more than one profile and couples have a joint plus one each. So the number of messages that are genuine are lessened. I don't meet smokers or married guys, and I don't want to shag my way through Fab! So if I get 10 messages a day I might find one guy a week I would be interested in meeting. And that might not result in anything. Depends what you're after I guess. There's no right or wrong. Just what you decide is right for you. 500 messages a day? Nah! |

Depends on the day mid week I get about 20-40 with my filters set the way they are on the weekends it's 50-100.
On the days where I advertise a meet or upload new pics average about 200+ Ish
My best for one day was 632 messages on a Saturday where I combined adding new pics and a meet |

Hmm anywhere between 10 - 30... the majority of which are from people who've not read my profile, so they get deleted.
Then all the others along the lines of "hi Hun, how's you?", which also get deleted.
This leaves an average of less than one attention grabbing message per day, and an inbox strewn with tumble... |

you don't have any pics, that won't help.
depends on your area as well, some areas are really busy, especially with people passing through with work. where i am is central to the south of lancashire.
i got 100-200 views every 30 mins if i'm online (i don't constantly check looked at me but do look from time to time), most guys don't message me but look, this means i'm not that popular as i could be but still with 100 guys looking in 30 mins i am gonna get a fairly busy inbox.
my inbox used to be a lot busier when i was meeting and showing my veris highlighted my profile to other users as well. |

I get about 10-35 per week. I don't even count the messages from TV/TS as I have 0 interest in them, despite that I haven't blocked them.
Not too bad considering the experience of other single men, but I can handle more for sure.

I'm glad I don't get loads though, wouldn't have the time to sort through them.
My filters are set well & I'm often the one doing the search.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply, I can now understand why it's extremely hard for most single guys on here. It sounds like it can be a full-time job just managing your inbox, and the lady I was talking about sent me a picture of her inbox with 472 unread messages after a day and a half of not being on line and she has no profile pictures or private gallery pics, so it go's to show it must just be down to location and lack of message filters |

If a profile is advertising a meet they would get loads no doubt. If.you are on here 24 7 your also get loads. We normally get 20 30 a day but really depends. Sometimes only a few a day just all depends |

Only really get messages from friends since I'm not looking.
I do use all my filters also.
Though get ocassional messages where people obviously have not read profile. |

When we had a couples profile we used to get messages every day even when we was logged out.
But as a single guy I get at least one each time I log on and these normally come from guys who have "straight" on their profile. |

We think exageration on most parts.
Okay our profile clearly states no single guys but the ones that message usually are decent and we enjoy chatting to them on a lot of occasions.
On average we get 2 or 3 messages a day from new people but most are from people who we chat with most days.
