Why do some women insist on war and peace in messages but can only put 3 words(if your lucky) in there reply?

Because they're not interested in your message and are only replying to be nice and to help stop the 'why don't women ever reply?!' threads?

Ask them. How would we know why they do?

By "insist on War and Peace" do you mean ask for interesting messages more than just "Hi"?

Don't know why some do but if it bothers you that much then don't write to them

They're possibly trying to sort out who's prepared to write a decent message, (not a Tolstoy novel!), for a chance of meeting, and who can't be arsed to write a paragraph.

It's a good indication of many things!

So presumably "I am interested" would suffice as an introduction lol

Thanks Cleo for an honest response. That is exactly what I thought. So having taken the effort to right more than "Want a shag" does it not say something about the woman when they can be bothered to send a well thought out polite rejection?

it says they don't feel obliged to respond to any man who is introducing themselves in the hope of getting sex.

nothing actually wrong with that really.

yes you might well have taken the time to write a decent message, and it's probably appreciated a lot more than you think. it still doesn't mean we have to interact with you and we can have our reasons for not doing so.

Why? If you're rejecting someone why do you need to say more than "no thanks" or "not interested". You're not actually entitled to any response at all.

I try to be as polite and gracious as possible. But I can't speak for everyone. Some women get far more messages than me, so don't have time. Some might be having a bad day. Some might not like the fact that men argue with their decision. Some might just be totally rude!

I think the mistake here is to assume that women all have a hive mind, so if you understand the actions and motivations of one, you understand them all.

It's not the case.

It's worth remembering that a woman (or man, or couple) are free to stipulate exactly the sort of messages they wish to receive, and if you've chosen to message them, no matter how exactly you follow their requirements they are not even obligated to read it before deleting, let alone compose a similarly crafted reply.

If you can understand that, you'll find Fab a much more congenial place.
