"Hi all, my friend is telling me it's legal to invite others to yr home for sex for money.. She says this is perfectly legal as its in yr own home... Is she right and is it ok???"
try the website for the English Collective of Prostitues,a pressure group for sex workers...i imagine information regarding legality will be on there |

Prostitution is legal in England, Scotland and Wales (It is illegal in Northern Ireland since 2015).
I think that street prostitution is illegal but own home or escort (call out girl) are legal. |

Money for sex is not illegal. Soliciting is.
So it depends what you mean by " invite".
That's why escorts charge for their company/time; not the sex; on the basis that " you are simply buying my companionship, not the sex".

In Great Britain charging for sex is legal, but a number of related activities, including soliciting in a public place, kerb crawling, owning or managing a brothel and pimping are crimes. In a brothel for instance, the only person committing an offence is the Madame or owner. So in short, it is legal to charge for sex in your own home. |
