I rarely give out my number these days, but I do have a second phone which is entirely dedicated to use with people I've met on Fab and similar sites. Friends call it my "sex phone." I also have separate email accounts than my everyday one.
I give it out before meeting someone, to deal with the unexpected delays that come of using public transport, and to keep in touch with people after, if all goes well.
I know, Kik is often used but I just don't have it and, as one who is deathly allergic to anything new (I still don't use Uber!), it's just not a good option for me.
I'm often shocked when I'm given an email address that is obviously a work or personal address (completely with full name and/or place of employment).
How do you stay in contact with those you want without giving out too much info to anyone? Or do you just give the info without a care? |

Yes I have a fab phone, I learnt very early on that it's better to have a second phone, specific for this lifestyle.
Rather than have a nosey teenage son ask why there were so many different women's numbers in my phone and why was my picture album locked  |

I use kik and I also have a separate email address for kink related stuff. Only the one phone though, don't see the need for another one. Though I did accidentally email the council about my council tax from the wrong email address once... |

My phone is locked. Kids don't get anywhere near mine or hubby's. |

People forget that FB own Whatsapp and I'll often get friend suggestions on FB for people I only have a connection with through whatsapp. If you can see them they can see you! |

A SIM only phone on pay-as-you-go which we top up by purchasing vouchers in cash
Also a separate email address; not many clues in an email address starting with eandj99
Also a separate Skype address which we only use when we switch on VPN
