Hey guys I'm sure this post has been already done but it's my turn to have a moan.
I'm sick & tired of complete bellends messaging me when clearly they haven't read my profile.
I appreciate I can use filters to calm the traffic but I don't want to as I like to read messages from genuine people who have taken the time to get to know me a teeny tiny bit from what I write.
Men are always moaning they don't get replies or meets well it's your own fucking fault for being ignorant.
It's usually the guys with no verifications and haven't got a clue about how fab works.

I send few messages and always with some content relating to the person/profile to which I am attracted. Doesnt work for me.
But I'm happy with who I am and where I am in my life. If it happens on here it will happen. Frankly I've got other things far more important to worry about if I feel the need to worry. |

try a different filter...newbies, non verified or site supporters...it won't cut them all out but it will cut out those who can't be arsed going to a tiny bit of extra effort and it definitely cuts out the Friday night in from the pub horn looking for wank material then gone when sober brigade. It makes life far easier |

I wish they (admins) built a filter on the message area that allows you to search for a specific word and only show messages from those people.
So what I am thinking is if like some profiles you have a word or a phrase for the title in your description that would mean people have read it and the filter can easily pick it up.
Its not perfect but it may mean it is less annoying to have to mass delete all messages or deal with them individually. |

We could quip the message above your profile pic on you profile is as much as most men can absorb, but that would be a cheap shot.
Seriously there could be a few reasons which are in fact down to your profile.
Have a read of it you contradict yourself a number of times.
For instance “...I only meet at Xtasia...” then a little later “...I would meet a one on one is if you live quite close to me...”
Then later the suggestion you only meet younger but have a crush on older people, men think perhaps there is a chance then.
There is also the distance issue, if you are meeting at the club mentioned then why is distance a problem, unless you mean you could meet at his house, very confusing.
Apart from the above men will read the top couples of lines and scan down to the pics claiming they have read your profile.

I'm pretty laid back about it all tbh! If I've agreed to meet someone then I expect them to read my profile (so they don't recoil in horror when I get naked!) - other than that I'm cool with them just looking at the pretty pictures.
And let's be honest op - a guy could read your/my profile a dozen times and write an amazing message - but if the face and body don't appeal then he's just wasted his time - and I meet less than 1% of the people who message me. If someone I don't find attractive has clearly made a lot of effort then I feel guilty tbh! Xx |

That is true but you have to use a UK postcode for a profile on here so whichever code we use would put us in searches somewhere.
However it is still no excuse for contacting without reading.

Happens all the time. I just ignore all those that don't read my profile.
The majority don't read. The majority get deleted.
IMO the issue is partly caused by the page format for mobile devices. This places the picture button before the profile. As a result people look at these first. Some go on to read the profile, whereas the majority have already decided to send a message and don't read the profile. |

Happens to us (and probably every other couple and single lady) on a daily basis, even more so when we have a meet advertised. We do reply to them on occasion if the message is polite and well written, normally along the lines of 'you might want to re-read our profile' but it makes little difference.
Block/ignore, move on.

LOL. We still get messages almost every day from dickheads who want to meet us in Blackpool.
Take a quick look at ours and you will see what we mean.
That's because you selected North West as your profile location - and Blackpool is in the NW so you appear on local searches.
That is true but you have to use a UK postcode for a profile on here so whichever code we use would put us in searches somewhere.
However it is still no excuse for contacting without reading.
Maybe I will change it to read something like: "Our favourite pastime is hammering metal stakes up the arse of single guys while plugging his cock into the mains"
I bet we'd still get "I'm in Blackpool, fancy a meet?"

How do you know not many read profiles? If you can't see who has visited your profile, (never understood that function actually), and they didn't then message you because they thought you weren't a match you wouldn't know. For every message received that you think hasn't read your profile you may have had a thousand who visited your profile and didn't message. That wouldn't be "not many read profiles" in my mind.

We get it all the time. Soft swap or straight couples winking and messaging us. They CLEARLY haven't read our profile. We spend 90%+ of our time with timewasters and it gets too much sometimes. |

We get the same often. Lately it seems to be a lot of couples asking for cuck meets or to meet N alone. Though I don't mind taking a break to watch and take it all in, we say pretty hard that we both have to play or no one plays.
It's an easy filter though. If its evident people didn't read our profile, we don't take the time to reply either. |

I just blocked someone this very minute for that same thing...no pics on his profile...asks to meet even though it's in the first paragraph that I work all week and not available for meets...ask him if he's read my profile and he says yes-you don't like to meet straight guys...then that I like caravans...like he's reading my bio a word at a time-blocked!. |

Anyway he asked me the usual stuff. How am I finding it on FAB etc.
