I have a question to married couples. Do you remember when you took your vowels promising to fuck no one else but your spouse. But if your fucking someone else either together or with the full consent of your spouse doesn't annul your vows and your marriage?

Most people get divorced due to the "consonant" pressure to keep their "vowels"

You can only get your marriage annulled if you don't consummate the marriage

There are other reasons to get a marriage annulled too. Having sex with others is not one of them.

Surely cheating is deciving your partner. So how can it be cheating if your partner has full knowledge and enjoys the same lusts as you?

There's a local woman to me that plays the perfect married sweet couple role by night and by day time when her hubby is work she's slowly going through every guy on fab.He has no knowledge she's on here and in the 4mths she's been on fab she's acumulated 20 verifications.

Now that's cheating.

Well I didn't interpret our vows like that. 'Forsaking all others I thought meant putting each other before others', so obviously cheating would be breaking our vows.

I'm pretty sure the vows are love, cherish and obey. So if I tell her I really want to see her arse riding up and and down on that guy and she obeys...I'm pretty sure that means she's fulfilling her vows as a good wife.

If certain marriages are fragile enough that having another cock in her means you don't love her anymore you probably should avoid getting married!

Again not everyone publicly vows to be just for each other

I attended a wedding of two swinging friends and they had lines in their vows about swinging

You can actually swing while making a commitment to the other person not that you clearly understand that

Being married makes things so much easier when you have kids. Hubby and I were happy together not being married. We're happy together being married and doing what we do. I'm not one for over analysing and don't care what others think about married people having sex with others. We don't have a problem with it.

To be honest I don't think many fully understand the rules of swinging if they are any keep changing all the time. I mean it's almost as if it's got it's own culture language etc.

Hence I asked an honest question to see what the couple's think. That's all nothing to do with me, my profile or who I fuck. Who am I to tell anyone what to do.

There are no set rules. Couple decide what they want to do without the need for anyone telling them what they should do or how people interpret their marriage vows.

As I say, your opening post is not unusual but always makes me wonder why people who think that way are on here

Hmmm, it depends. When we first got into swinging we didn't fully understand it. But fortunately we had the social skills to politely ask people on the scene for advice.

Can I ask didn't understand what?

We were in our early 20s, so didn't understand a lot of things. Terms like full swap, soft swap etc. How to approach people. "

Ah right, I meant more the concept of it and why couples like to swing more then the mechanics of it.

We were in our 40's before we started on sites like these and didn't know all the terms either

Yes, sorry, it's that time of the day where my brain is slowing down. I guess we had a fantasy view of it and were actually quite surprised by the amount of couples in the scene. We were unicorn hunters who quickly adapted.

" But if your fucking someone else either together or with the full consent of your spouse doesn't annul your vows and your marriage? "

Actually if you take the traditional Christian marriage vow sex with others isn't mentioned in the vow.

Look

‘I, (name), take you, (name)

to be my wife/husband,

to have and to hold

from this day forward;

for better, for worse,

for richer, for poorer,

in sickness and in health,

to love and to cherish,

till death us do part,

according to God’s holy law.

In the presence of God I make this vow.’

So your arguement if flawed from the start in Christian marriages.

Sex with others i.e. Adulterous behaviour is grounds for divorce under unreasonable behaviour but only if the other person cites it.

Yes, if you make a vow of fidelity you break that vow if you swing - that's axiomatic. If it is unilateral, as in cheating, then yes, I am sure you have broken the marriage contract you made. If it is consensual, as in swinging, I would be interested in the legal position on that - but my guess would be if you have agreed, you have modified your contract by mutual consent, so not broken it. I'd be interested to know the legal position though, out of curiosity!

I couldn't possibly comment about the legal position. But sex with others is simply a physical act. Fidelity is an emotional connection, a vow that we don't break. I'm struggling to explain it better.

I doubt it especially if they were aware and were present when the sex took place between their partner and someone else. I suppose they could say they were coerced into swinging which could maybe be grounds under unreasonable behaviour?

As far as I remember when I got married in '96 I thought the vows were 'be faithful to each other' now I ended my marriage because I fell out of love but never touched another man

However I am now with someone and we are swingers .... we plan to get married and he likes to see me with another guy

I'm still being faithful to him because it's with his consent and not behind his back

You are one hell of a smart woman. It's funny that most people seem not to understand or are choosing to ignore the op's point. If you are a swinger, then you are going against present societal norms regarding marriage. You could say no one is getting hurt as long as there is mutual consent but there are people including psychologist and marriage counsellors who would argue otherwise. As such the high horse taken against married people swinging alone by so many often smacks of hypocrisy - as you are almost never aware of the entirety of a person's circumstance - and is what sparks such posts as the op's!

What do you mean? I have read and heard that many marriages have ended becuase one failed to keep their vowels and went and slept with someone else. "

Surely it's not hard to remember A,E,I,O & U. Bit excessive ending a marriage on grammatical grounds lmao

"News flash all religion is made up, why would anyone run there lives by a load of made up rules when the people who made them up don't even follow them, Most cherry pic. I take it you celebrate xmas? lol.

Xmas is about Santa, not religion It is also an annual festival commemorating the birth of jesus christ

Wasn't he born in September?

Yes, yes he was.. it's easier to brainwash people if you don't change as much though lol It is the traditionally date to celebrate it on xmas

It's actually traditional to celebrate Yule on December the 25th, the pagan celebration which Christianity stole in order to assist in conversion of the masses to better affect control

As above, Jesus was a person, his birthday was in September.

It is actually only anglo saxon countries that have it on the 25th, rest of the world and europe have it on the 24th "

Proving the point about fitting their story to preset traditions

"Yes, if you make a vow of fidelity you break that vow if you swing - that's axiomatic.

Oh I agree there are different types of fidelity and different perspectives on the 'contract' - legal, moral, religious etc. Swinging is not betraying trust so is very different from cheating, but the marriage vows do concern sexual fidelity.

If I were a swinger getting married I would adjust my vows accordingly. Marriage is about commitment primarily IMO.

As such the high horse taken against married people swinging alone by so many often smacks of hypocrisy - as you are almost never aware of the entirety of a person's circumstance - and is what sparks such posts as the op's!"

But what point is the OP making? Myself and others have tried to get him to clarify and he's accused people of being too stupid to understand. Not a great way to maintain an adult discussion.

Funnily enough, I had a discussion with a psychotherapist (I assume that's what you meant, as they're different to a psychologist) and he didn't see the harm as long you were being safe.

And swinging isn't the same as cheating. It's not hypocritical.

Either you get it or you don't.

Why is a single man so concerned with married people 's relationships on here? That's freaky

This environment is just a slice of pleasure for those who want to participate.

I saw a couple for a considerable length of time and we all took pleasure from a sexual dalliance. They were madly and deeply in love that is etched on each other's hearts the sex was the same as eating apple pie as in nice to have occasionally very pleasurable but not a staple diet!

I envy them as there was no cheating or deception just great fun in a life that is short!

"Vowels?

To be fair, taking all the vowels would change their vows somewhat."

That would make it a consonant wedding?

I think when people's experience of fab isn't going well, it's easy to get worked up about other people's experiences. I've been guilty of this myself in the past.

I would have liked Op to expand on whatever point was he was trying to make, and to have had a good discussion. I like challenging beliefs - and being challenged.

As he chose not to, I'm going to assume he was just following the Katie Hopkins method of making friends and influencing people

It was being celebrated long before somebody invented Jesus. The Christian thiefs merely took it over. It was a celebration of mid winter. When the days started to get longer again.

Even people who don't follow a religion run their lives by rules they've made up.

I don't think I do!

Ok. I do though. I've got a set of rules I try to live by that I made up or that I pinched from someone else who had made them up. "

We have rules we have made up (like we only play together) but we don't follow mane stream rules

"Surely cheating is deciving your partner.

Now that's cheating."

What about working on a Sunday that's a sin as well in churches eye ?

So we all kind of screwed in long run

Oh yes indeed, I don't want to live in an echo chamber. There's aspects of swinging I've sometimes been uncomfortable and it's been good to chat about it on here.

But when somebody is deliberately trying to wind people up, I can't be bothe_ed.
