There have been a few threads about men sending dick pics with a first message. One thing this always makes me think is that (most) men think differently than (most) women on this topic. I think men generally like this type of picture whereas it may not be what most women are looking for, so men send a dick pic because it's what they think will go over well.
Here's my question for you men - would you prefer if women sent a vagina picture with their first message? Are women doing the reverse of what men are actually looking for? Would you prefer to see a woman's vagina before deciding to meet up with her? Have you ever asked a woman for a picture of her vagina before meeting her to make sure her vagina is one you'd like to have sex with?

"I personally cant ever see the day when id be offended by a pussy pic "
But is it something you wish more women would send in a first message? Have you ever asked for one before a meet so you could check it out? I'm genuinely curious. |

Er....I think many guys on fab try far too hard to get meets so think a cock pick is a way to get noticed
Also as many ladies are sending pics of every part of their anatomy they feel it's the done thing |

Really? How interesting. I've never heard that from a woman. I'd be interested to hear if other women have been asked. |

Surely you would want to see an outline body pic before anything else. What can you tell from a pussy pic and likewise a cock pic.I don't think I have ever seen a vagina pic I would NOT want to have sex with !! The same cannot be said for an outline body pic. |

Hello
Interesting topic.. I think you will get a split set of answers.. there will always be guys and women who are here just for sex and who want to "fuck and go" that's fine if that's what people want... but there are people who want to make friends socilise and also have sex.. that's also fine.. there are apt of guys on here and I'm sure more then there are ladies or couples so this will also impact the answers you get.. |

Why? What kind of pic would not make you suspicious?
I actually do have a vag pic, taken when a guy on Craigslist wanted to see mine pre-meet. So there are some out there who like them. |

Most don't like to send a face pic unless asked so what are we left with? Bum ,torso(of which most guys are a bit self conscious) or a dick pic! N let's face it who doesn't like a pic of a vagina? They are so pretty lol |

The pics on your profile are exactly the type of pics both my wife and I like to see prior to a meet.Tasteful & erotic. Although from my wife's point of view not enough of the guy.But that is another topic. |

I'm my experience women simply don't send pussy pics as a first contact, men acting as women do. |

I agree about the last part - but convincing Marc to be in pictures is like pulling teeth
I just asks his opinion of the topic and he said he'd love to get more pussy pics. I guess that's my question answered |

I wouldnt ask right away but if it looked like we were gonna meet then yes i would.
I think some guys might be afraid to ask because it may end up in a block or ruin a potential meet. |

I agree with this. I've never been asked for a pussy pic before a meet (even when I don't have any on our profile), so I was thinking men might say here whether they'd prefer to have them, even when they would hesitate to actually ask for one before a potential meet. |

If a genuine women sent me a picture of her pussy as first contact I'd think she was more up for sex, so yes as a single guy I'd like it.
I'd still want to see a face picture though, but the scene would be set! |

I'm going to put any pics that show my pussy in friends only and see if anyone asks for one! |

I don't need to see a woman's vagina before we meet. For me, attraction is based on personality and features such as face and body. The vagina doesn't factor, and pics of one on its own do nothing for me. |

by all means send pussy pictures ladies but i personally would see it as a desperation move by someone who is very very desperate for sex .
desperation for sex with a stranger i view personally as a turn off not a turn on .
but hay some people like the desperate kind as its a easy fuck and go again something i personally find a turn off not a turn on,

Meeting has changed a lot. It used to to elicit, exotic, rude or unspoken - a little like sexting. Sending a picture of your junk was either asked or sent when messages or texts got to the stage when intrigue got to the point of no return. Finding someone you liked and sending a pic was a non essential as you were both already going to fuck. Any pictures you got was just icing on the cake - you already liked each other as you'd teased each other with any possibilities that were going to happen.
Nowadays dick pics are par for the course so people are overloaded with them and are more put off by them. Possibly newbies coming into the world of heightened sex, NSA and swapping are still of the same mindset and are not too bothered but I'd think as it is so swamped with tech, sending pics has taken away any flirtation or elicit thoughts and people (maybe more women) are wanting a greater connection before moving to something more physical. |

Interesting. I'm generally pretty sceptical of the "things have really changed" reminiscences. But when do you think the change took place? The last 5 years, 7 years, 10 years? |

I've been sent them in a first message, not necessarily wanted or unwanted, everyone has a different approach, some being more direct than other which is no bad thing in my opinion.
I don't need to see a close up vag shot in order to meet but i have asked for full nude beforehand as the pictures they had wasn't that great and felt like something was being hidden, but it wasn't. |

Never sent one in a first message - but then it's not really one for showing off. Even if it were, I wouldn't.
I probably wouldn't complain if I were sent a pussy pic but I would prefer either a profile pic or a pic of the lady's lovely legs (if she has a lovely pair) as those are the things that appeal to me most at a visual and visceral level. |

People are always flirtatious and want experimentation but I suppose I am saying maybe 5 years+ ago it was quite open re picture exchange as it was relatively new. Women (and couples) would openly invite them in my experience.. Now they if want a well hung guy or muscled up guy they can find it in a click quite easily. What you are and what you can offer are more to the forefront, I'd say now. |

"Don't think guys will care that much of course depend on the look of the pussy remember men are visual being first and think women are visual first that is the reason women get dick pics."
I completely agree. It's exactly the answer I usually give on threads by men asking why women complain about dick pics. But it's exactly what got me thinking about the topic of this thread...whether the visually stimulated male would prefer a vagina pic in a first message but simply doesn't ask for one because of the reasons stated earlier in the thread... |

I think this is starting to get to the nub of the issue on the forums.
You guys tend not to do this I have noticed but many people fail to appreciate that their views and preferences are not shared by all and they have difficulty dealing with people who have other perspectives.
Generally the next step is to suggest that those who have different methods or preferences should stop having those and align themselves with the preferences of the commentator. |

Good question and topic... I think men tend to send a Dick Pic to show a sign of masculinity - I think in society a lot of pressure has been put on a man about his penis (Size/Width etc.) so as a sign of masculinity they tend to send a pic of there dick (As they think this is the only thing a women would consider when choosing a sexual partner on this site)...
Haha, I sound like David Attenborough here ??
This is were men get the concept a bit wrong, there is a lot more features to a sexual encounter than merely whipping out King Kong and her mouth drops... Foreplay, oral and perhaps a few other kinky fetish perhaps blindfolds, tie downs, outfit etc. Added to that a physical and mental attraction!.
I mean a man doesn't send his first picture of his tongue/fingers to prove he is good at oral sex??...
As for a women, I think all men will a agree a women's pussy is beautiful!!... To answer your question: NO, I would not ask or expect a first picture to be of a women's pussy... I think Awkwardpeach hit the nail on its head earlier when she said a picture with creativity and class that really embodies a women's empowerment of her pussy is far more attractive in my eyes rather than just a snap of her pussy lips!!
As a male on this sight, I don't send a pic of my dick in the first message (I do have 1 or 2 on my profile to the public)...
If I am messaging a lady/couple I would prefer to have some sort of physical/mental attraction rather than our only attraction being the look of my penis or her pussy... |

I think there's something erotic for guys showing a woman their cock. It's a form of exhibitionism like flashing. I don't think they have thought at all about whether the person on the receiving end really wants to see it or not. It's certainly not what I (mr) would do in an initial mail.
If a woman replicated this, however, by sending a message that said she really got off on showing others her cunt and that it made her horny thinking of us seeing this very private part of her and then included a pic of it I'm fairly sure I'd be stiff as anything and horny as heck in no time. This is what it means for a woman to get inside a man's mind as far as I'm concerned |

I suspect the problem has become more accute since the introduction of social media type and associated dating realtime functions. The patience previously seen ten years back appears to have gone - especially as the likes of Tinder etc have become common place.

What! You mean to say that when a 17th century sailor wrote back to his woman "just yee wait till I gets back to port in 6 month and a day me lovely. I'll be pulling the jolly roger up your petticoat"... that he didn't include a crudely drawn picture of his cock? |

Some time ago I did a survey type thread on what pictures men liked to see on profiles. I was surprised at the outcome. After a few years on Fab, and previously Craigs List, I was trying to work out the psychology of the cock pic'. If men thought woman wanted to start with a picture of a cock, logically men must want to start with a picture of a pussy. How wrong I was. From that thread boobs closely followed by bums were unanimously the most sought after pictures on Fab. Legs were sadly low down the list of priorities. Considerably more men than I had anticipated were in favour of lingerie clad and semi-clothed women as opposed to totally naked. Some wanted pussy pics, but a few said they weren't partial to anything gynaecological. I also asked if men liked action pics of people having sex, and that was a popular one. I certainly know from the Fabs on our own profile what men seem to like, and our most explicit picture of me which does show my pussy is less popular.

I think you are right, it is a sort of primeval way of expressing masculinity. Maybe it's easier for women to express their sexuality in a variety of ways. Women display boobs and bums and men love it. I will be the first to admit I love going topless and showing off my breasts and having men looking at them. Perhaps that's the same feeling that men have regarding their erect penises? I can't see myself taking a selfie of my splayed open pussy, because I don't think it looks very nice (although men have told me otherwise). Makes me wonder what body part could a man show off to express his masculinity if not his cock and his body is not muscular - men don't have boobs and women's bum are bigger and more shapely usually. I guess it's easier for women to express their sexuality visually, |

I think a pussy pic has more erotic effect if it's personal i.e here's a picture of my pussy I wanted you to see. Without that sentiment it's just graphic porn and boring graphic porn at that. Believe it or not men are a bit like women in that it's as much all the little things that turn them on as the thing itself. A doring kindersley picture of a pussy floating in space just aint going to do much without being enmeshed in erotic sentiment |

That's true. I broke my own rules about genitalia when my husband and I decided to post a fairly exposed picture of me. To us it was erotic because it told a story of what had happened that night. To everybody else it was just another naked lady, so got considerably less Fabs than some of our more tamer pictures. So maybe a pussy pic is sexy if there is a story behind the picture or if it's sent privately between 2 friends. Maybe that's the same for cocks - needs to be something more for such an intimate picture to truly be appreciated.

That makes total sense to me. We went to a swinging bar in Gran Canaria and Mrs got my cock out and started playing with it. It was incredibly erotic knowing everyone was looking at us and seeing her play with my cock. Definitely a bit of an exhibitionist here I can imagine having taken a pic of it that would really turn us both on. But without that context it would just be another cock pic for everyone else |

Never even remotely occurred to me to ask though I have sent complimentary messages to some of the ladies here who do display their (shaved) beauty in their profiles. |

Could not have said it any better myself... You have certainly made a valid point and couldn't agree with you more... A womens body is God's gift to earth! Boobs, bums and curves in all the right places...
I think men sending an erect penis is there way of expressing there bodies own image... If for example you don't have a six pack or bulging biceps then they may rely on sending dick pics to assert their Alpha Male instinct... However, how many muscular men that have good bodies then still send a dick pic in a first message, despite having a body that many women find attractive? |

"Some time ago I did a survey type thread on what pictures men liked to see on profiles.

I don't think it follows that because people send genital pics as an opening gambit that they would want to receive them.
That's assuming they are writing a message as they would want it and not in a way that they think the recipient would appreciate.
Not getting the latter bit correct doesn't mean that isn't the intent.
As borne up by your research.
I think just because some people don't enjoy receiving genital pictures they assume the person sending said pictures isn't giving any thought or consideration to their actions. It's ironic that actually it is the other way about and the receiver is guilty of the same sort of lack of understanding as the sender. |

Women find all different bodies attractive. The suggestion that muscle bound bodies are the ultimate and most sought after may not necessarily be true. |

You have to bear in mind men get hardly any first contact messages off women? It's not like were going to be inundated with fanny pics. Personally I'm not bothered either way, I've actually met 3 women on previous profiles without seeing any pics of them? Risky you might say but they were all great meets and one of them was a mid twenties part time model, what I did know about all 3 was we got on well so why not. |

It's not really about what women find attractive, it about what men psychologically regard as a symbol of masculinity and sexuality. I think that big muscles (whether women like that body type or not) and the man's cock maybe what defines their masculinity from a physical or sexual perspective. |

I wouldn't ever ask for one but I certainly wouldn't complain about being sent one. If we were meeting then I'd be intending to spend a fair amount of time with my face down there so it could help with the pre meet fantasizing and build the anticipation.

I think I've only been asked to send a vag pic before once or twice.
When I have sent one its been off the back of some flirty messages so by mutual agreement.

Great topic, genuinely never thought about that lol
Would never in a million years ask for a vag pic as neither of us would care less what it looked like, but think as men we just naturally assume that its something woman would want to check out before meeting, and just gonna have to presume on this last one sadly lol that guys with huge members probably assume its a good way to put themselves ahead in the "Ahem" pecking order ;p
You do see a lot of women in and out of couples saying on profiles that they only want massively hung guys. So it encourages that perception. |

Isn't it much easier than that? Men are simply after a shag, so send a cock pic. Ladies require 'a bit more', so maybe guys should send a picture of a brain! Just an idea.... |

Not sure you can summarise it quite so crassly. Different sexes don't all act as one. |

When I was younger, sure I sent a dick pic or two. Would of been great to have a vag pic in return.
But I'm older and little wiser (hopefully). Plus I am no longer a horny teenager, which helps.
I don't send dick pics anymore, full body sure - everything in context. Would I want a vag pic? Simply put no. It doesn't tell me, as a guy anything that a dick pic to a woman, about chemistry or anything else that is actually important for meeting up etc. |

I have not received any foof pictures initially and with me it's always a face pic that is sent... if it's a flowing flirty conversation other pics may be sent back and forth
I wouldn't really like a foof to begin with before anything else ...it's like already knowing what the surprise present is before unwrapping it! |

"There have been a few threads about men sending dick pics with a first message.
-Courtney "
No,not sure,no and no. I like to keep something for my imagination to do. Plus it builds up the anticipation |

Maybe they drew round it on a piece of paper. |
