During our time in America we came accords a company that rents sex toys and accessories. Never seen anything like this before and obviously thought of hygiene.
However looking at it closer and seeing some of the positives such as
Affordability
Storage
Worried about kids finding them etc
And so on..
Obviously the company would have to clean the equipment and they do advise which is pretty much common sense (use condom etc on dildo's). Still we were thinking hmmm
Then we thought about when we have played with women, couples and even guys with toys, we've used dildos etc on them.
Still not sure about it but wanted to get other opinions? |

You are probably safer renting sex toys rather than sharing.
Any company renting sex toys would have to sterilise them between rentals as they would soon lose their reputation and business otherwise.

There is a dungeon for hire in bristol where you can use thier toys and bits..
On a purely curiosity i would actually be intrigued as to how they clean....do they throw it in the dishwasher on a steam wash or do they have access to an autoclave to make it surgically sterile? |

I can imagine renting bondage gear as it can be very expensive just to try and see if you like it. Girlfriend wants to 'try' a spreader bar but for that you need the bar and the cuffs which cost a fair bit. Perhaps we need a for sale/wanted forum. |

Iiirc when we rented the fucking machine at Ashton Studios in Bristol we needed to use a condom on it. Which makes sense. We use condoms on strap ons as quick to replace during the action of you change partner.
OP, it wasn't in Texas was it? I seem to recall that sex toys are illegal there and so I'm wondering if it is some kind of legal get around to that? Eg maybe you can rent a dildo for a small fee but leave a deposit (no pun intended) in case you 'accidentally' don't return it. Then when the dildo cops raid you when they are bored of shooting minorities you can show them the log book for the dildo to prove it's not yours? Lol

We were in Florida when we heard about it from fellow swingers lol. We have no idea the procedure in how the operate or anything but apparently they get a lot of business. I suppose the saying goes why buy when you can rent. ?? Lol.

Yeah, but would you trust them to get it right every time?
People make mistakes, systems make mistakes, one could easily get through the net or not sterilised properly.
I'm not sure I could put my trust in a company to handle something so sensitive, which if gotten wrong could have some nasty consequences?  |
