I have just been told that someone on the site has set up a profile using my picture as their own ?????
Now I know I should be flattered but really that's so not on....  |

but to be honest I had 2 off my hotlist yesterday have nearly the same avatar.... was almost identical... so many are similar.

I know another well known sites doesnt allow any right clicks on photos.
if people want photos they could print them off and rescan them which i have heard has been done , I just dont get why people would do this passing someone else off as themselves |

First of all this is awful that someone has taken ur picture n used it on their own profile .. Do they think u won't notice.
It's easy to take a pic of a private pic if on friends list, enlarge it take the pic n that's it .. If this person wasn't on ur friends list then mmm mind boggles. What has admin done about this?

This seems to be happening alot n it now makes me realise why soo many ppl choose not to put pics on their profile ... U can't blame them really
It's concerning, whatever next ... I'm glad admin have dealt with it in a speedy fashion so that's reassuring but what if you hadn't noticed, this person would still have your pics xxx |

We came across three new profiles the other day, all with the same pic, one a single woman, one a couple and the other a single man. All joined within an hour and all in the same town!! What a coincidence that three lots of people all look identical AND all live in the same time?? beggars belief!! |

thats happened to me too, but he only had one of me suckin bf cock there were lots of other similar on his profile, probably stolen from others too, hed obviously never had his cock sucked and taken his own pics!! very sad |

seen a lot of this going on on other sites, and whilst the right click thing can be prevented, some will just PrtScr+ and crop the result after pasting it.
Again its deluded dreamers and schemers, but NOT nice to have done to you. |

This is from the FAQs about pic lifting.....
Why don't you right-click protect our photos to stop others stealing / saving them?
We believe in being straighforward with the members of Fab. Right click protect doesn't work and gives a false sense of security by pretending to "protect" images. Other sites may pretend they've protected your images but actually they're being dishonest by claiming that.
Right click "protect" can be gotten around in under 2 seconds by any of the following methods:
Simplest: Goto File menu, Save As, and save to desktop = The photos will be in a folder on your desktop that your browser has created.
OR... Disable JavaScript by going to Tools menu, choose Internet Options, Click the Security tab, click Custom Level, scroll to the "Scripting" section of the list and click Disable. Right click can now be used to save images.
OR... Press print screen and the image + page will be copied to clipboard where it can be pasted into a graphics program for resize or save.
We give you three privacy options on your photos and we now hide images from anyone who isn't a member of Fab. If you are worried about someone stealing your photos you may want to set them to be _iewable only by your friends, or private in which case you can send by private mail.
We also now watermark all photos upon upload.

I was told once by a computer buff we know its easy to lift pics...... he did tell me how, not that i would obviously do it, plus cant remember what he said...... but he did say if you know how to use comps well it can be done.... glad admin sorted it for you xxx  |

There are ways to make them more difficult to copy, but to put it simply, if you can see them on the screen you can copy them. Once the picture is on your computer no one can stop you doing something with it.  |

hey i always check for fake pics, get firefox and search and install tinyeye
then you only need to right click the picture and it searchs the net for duplicates of it, so its good if you have people with photos from other websites as it is good at clocking them |

It is possible to solve this problem by using a special 'key' some text that represents each unique photo on fabswingers. Then the admin can run a search for duplicates, and autoban those fake profiles that crop up.
