Socks....I don't mind my wife wearing them, if she ever did, but for me if I'm wearing socks then I have to take them off....I don't know why but I feel odd with them on.

I don't think I'm picky, I just know what does it for me. If I'm going to make the effort of making sure everything is looking nice and tidy then it has to be for somebody who's ticking my boxes. We all want the fantastic sex so it's no surprise we have certain things we want/look for wether that's picky or self respect is up to the individual |

If I'm going to meet privately off of here then I'm picky. If I'm in a club or party then I just go with the flow. Don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. |

Yes very picky sorry to say, I annoy myself sometimes  but if I don't find someone attractive or strike up a connection then I could not bring myself to meet them which is a shame as they are probably lovely in person but first impressions count online i.e profile pics |

I know myself and I know my needs. I don't want to waste my time or anybody elses. So yes, I'm now extremely "picky" but in a healthy way.
I think there would be a problem if I wasn't. My pickiness is like a giant blob of defence mechanisms and self-protection. I'm very careful who I meet now; was very niave when I first joined. |

Yeah, I have some strict criteria of what I like and don't like, some strong views then other things that I haven't thought of prior to noticing them and the same thing could be good with one person and a total turn off when applied to another - it's certainly a case of 'je ne sais quoi' with me. |

I would guess most would see us as not being very picky . Well you couldn't be more wrong , as we are , but we don't put ourselves on a pedestal .
There are many types of people we enjoy meeting , and looks , personality , open mindedness , and general character are always important .
So although we meet so many people , the selection criteria is as high with us as anyone else . |

Picky in terms of who I find attractive? Not overly.
Picky about having a connection with someone? Most definitely.
I fancy a lot of people but unless there's a connection I probably wouldn't shag them. Sounds cliche but for me personally, sex with no spark makes for bad sex and I'm not here for bad sex |

We can understand personality or hygiene being deal breakers.

It's in my profile, I'm very careful with who I'll meet. Then there's that initial first impression whether in message, profile or forum. If they come across aggressive in anyway then I'm immediately put off and that'll probably not change no matter how much they may try afterwards. There was one exception and I was right in my first institutions.
Socks...she can wear woollen fluorescent with bells ones....It'll not make a difference. ..I'm not kissing her toes nor fingering them nor fucking them....just not my fetish. Now if she had a flashing woolly fluorescent foofoo then I draw the line. |

I am very picky. But i can overcome things I'm picky about if other things are preferable. Just being a nice person is most important. Initially I'm quite shallow so I'm hopeless with pictures. It's best i meet people face to face, because i can become attracted to you if you're a nice person. Alternatively i can be attracted to you, meet you, and if you are acting like a looser then i will stop being attracted to you. Can't help it. |
