Just curious as it's an observation we've made that many people continue to wink and message after being informed it's a no to wanting to take things further, do you think it's because people just mass message/wink because of an appealing photo rather than legitimate interest in the profile, like a numbers game?

People could be just trying their luck again as people do change their minds but there are probably some that mass wink and message.

Use that block button if it's really annoying you.

It's not that annoying and we do if it continues was just curious really as for example we replied to a guy yesterday saying no, he deleted our reply and today sent the same message again.

Always seems harsh to just block for the sake of it but it may be the way to go to avoid wasting each others time again.

He messaged again that soon??

That's actually pretty weird. Some people have far too much time on their hands.

haha indeed. It happens often so been noticing it a lot.

We always put a note on their profile of why we choose not to take things further and the date. Had a guy last week we had told 7 times since January so decided to block him this time round after again saying no. It must be a numbers game to some then by mass mailing.

We never had a 'problem' with much spam. Recently we took off the 'no single guys' filter, as we were specifically looking at that time. It was instantly noticable how many mass mail messages suddenly appeared. It's a pity for the guys who are genuine, read profiles etc etc as you quickly can't see the wood for the trees.

We're probably seeing it more as that's what we're seeking. But you're right, definitely makes its harder to find the genuine guys amongst the mass mails received especially from the guys we've already said no to multiple times. Appears the only way around it for us is to block once we've said no or maybe a 2 strike rule or something.

If I get a 'no thanks' response or my message is simply deleted, I will usually block to prevent me from bothering them again.

If I ever message someone twice its usually because I have forgotten thay they have said "no" already (if they did reply that is).

If I get the notification that I have already contacted but got no reply I usually leave it about a month and try again just in case they got so many messages they didnt see mine, or they change their mind.

I ALWAYS make my message new - no cut and pste here

I received a cut and paste message that was addressed to a couples profile. They obviously hadn't looked or couldn't be bothered to personalise their message.

I blocked them.

I only ever repeat message if I didn't get a no in the first place.

Could be my message was missed as couples probably get 100 messages a day!

I live in hope!

It could be that you missed our polite no yesterday as single guys typically get 100's of messages a day also! lol

Yes lots do. Also lots of profile pics are very similar so they might not realise they mailed you already.
