Why would someone who runs a club send u a private message about their club and invite u too it when u haven't even asked them about the club.

It seems obvious if you are promoting a new club to message potential people in the vicinity. Good marketing. I don't see a problem. Do you ring up and complain to the local pizza delivery firm when they shove a menu through your letterbox?
